1/30/21 My husband asked my aunt to look into a German sheperd puppy to surprise me with.. well surprise we were scammed! The name on the bill of sale is John West, address is 203 Richbarn Rd Pittsburgh PA 15212, phone number is 724 384 6579. I’ve seen enough of catfish to not believe anyone over the internet but I can’t be mad at my husband for trying to surprise me. We’ve learned our lesson!
I wish I would have found this site before I wasted my money. I think they changed the website to healthlygermanshepherddogs.com. I saw an ad for 50 percent off puppies. I contacted them via email and asked for other pictures and videos and I was sent more. Price to ship was $120. I paid via zelle. Owners name is John West. Address is 203 Richbarn Rd. Pittsburgh PA 15212. Phone number 724-384-6579. The owner agreed to ship the dog on the 9th but his wife forgot to send it. That should have clued me in something was wrong. I tried to contact them via phone call but it would just ring and then go to the caller is busy. They shipped the dog but the shipoping company said I needed to pay $880 for insurance and would be refunded 95 percent of that. I paid via zelle. This was when it was in Oklahoma. They then said the dog would be on the plane to California where I live. 3 hours go by and I receive an email and it says I need to pay $1800 for permit fees and it would all be refunded. I should have realized this was a scam, but I had already paid for the dog and the insurance. I tried to call the shipping company which is service fidelity express, phone number 408-809-1734 but no one would answer and it went to a voicemail. I communicated through text message. I asked why no one would answer the phone and they said only the manager could call me. I was only able to pay $1020 through zelle. They told me to pay that much. I asked where my dog was after that and they said still in Oklahoma. I asked why they did not tell me about the import and permit fees before, they said they did not know. It was then that I realized this was a scam. I asked if my dog would get to my house that day and they said yes. I told them I could not pay more than $2000 via zelle in one day. They said that is fine and use a Walmart card or google pay. I asked when I would get my dog and they said when the full amount was paid. I received a letter signed by a manager stating I would be refunded 95 percent of my money upon delivery of the dog. I asked for a refund and they said no. I told them I will not pay anymore money and they said ok. I then tried to contact the breeder. He asked if I had his other number and I said no. He said he will call me in a little bit. He called and I asked for a refund and he said no and hung-up. I know I will not get back any of the money I lost. I just hope that no one else gets scammed by them.
