The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third party Candybordercollies.com is not a puppy breeders website and this is not a review of Candybordercollies.com. This is a warning. They claims to sell puppys but the domain was actually created by criminals in order to defraud people wanting to buy a bordercollie. Once you express interest in buying one of the puppys the scammer will send you a template email telling you a lot of details about the puppy as well as information on the best puppy food to use, and how you should take care of your new puppy. They will even send you “proof” by showing you pictures they have stolen off the internet of bordercollie puppys. Candybordercollies.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Pet Delivery Service. The “delivery company” is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, an air conditioned travel crate, pet medication delivery for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. These scammers have even been known to charge for pet food delivery for a non existent pet! To see more scam websites involving bordercollie puppy have a look at Bordercollie Puppy Scams.ScreenShot

We got scammed by these low lifes. A man called from a Creede, CO number – (719)223-0247. He had a thick African or middle Eastern accent. He was trying to get the next “refundable” deposit of $3100 for a cite permit (after the $1300 my dad foolishly agreed to pay for the crate) which by the way, they requested us to use a one vanilla Visa gift card for that in the email. I already discovered this site and learned it was a scam when he called (and thankfully before my dad paid anymore money), so I messed with him, said I sent the money, and asked a lot of questions to keep him on the line, but also to catch him in his lies. I think he finally realized I was on to him, so he made one last attempt, and threatened that if we don’t pay the cite permit, we’d get fined for pet abandonment. I never said I knew he was a fraud, but my probing questions and responses made it clear I was on to him. So he just hung up. Also worth noting, they said to use zelle for payment, and my dad tried for 3 hours to get this $1300 out, but only succeeded in sending $500, and then, again foolishly, payed the remaining $800 in those one vanilla Visa gift cards. I am convinced they “glitched” the system on purpose so that paying with gift cards was the only option. You can’t get money reimbursed or report fraud to your bank on grocery store gift cards…
I’m trying to get Google to disallow this site from showing up on their search engine. It was the first page listed when I searched puppies for sale.
