The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third party Individuals who are looking to buy a boston terrier puppy online are being targeted by scammers. These criminals have created a website called Bostonterrierbreederhome.com in order to look legitimate. They post adverts on community websites advertising puppys. After you contact the scammers about the puppy, the scammers state that the puppy needs to be transferred to their area and that requires an upfront payment. The prefered payment system is Moneygram, Western Union or Walmart to Walmart but they will accept any form of payment including bitcoin, iTunes vounchers or bank transfer. Do not think that you can trace them if they use bank transfer as they will often use a “mule” who is not aware they are part of a scam. The down payment is then sent via wire transfer. The scammers then ignore your calls and emails or will contact you and tell you that something else has come up and they need further payment for the delivery of the puppy. These criminals are happy for you to give them your Credit Card details which they will later use to empty your account. Of course once you have given them your credit card details they will demand that you pay by wire transfer! Bostonterrierbreederhome.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Scam Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. I reached out via their website. They emailed me back right away asking which pup I was interested in. I was interested in the Boston Terrier named Belina. The scammer said that she was still available for $650 and said that for an additional $160, they could have her flown to me. I declined the flight option and said that my husband and I could drive the 15 hours from Pittsburgh to Tulsa, Oklahoma where they said they were located. They asked for the payment via Zelle but I said I only have PayPal. So I paid via PayPal to the email Kyle [email protected]. They asked for a screenshot of proof that I paid. So I sent one. I did ask for their phone number and said that we could be there at 9am the following day. They gave me a phone number and said that 9am was perfect. SOOO.. we show up at the address (15 long driving hours later) they gave me and it was an apartment that had a sign in the yard for sale! It was obvious that this place had been vacant for quite a while. I called the phone number and it said the mailbox was full. I texted, emailed, and no response either way. Total scam!!!
Bostonterrierbreederhome.com – email Happier Home .
Something didn’t smell right from the initial email as they didn’t use the name I provided on the inquiry form and didn’t answer my questions, instead had a very generic email. Including a crate and all vaccinations + microchip for $650 and $150 travel across the country … Biggest red flag is that they have reduced their price “because they have another litter on the way” #whodoesntplan? Says they are based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I’m playing along to see how far I can drag it on for these a**h*****. I feel sorry for anyone who does get scammed. I only hope my message here helps someone else who bothers to Google their info.
