Has there been anymore scams? I found out I was being scammed today. My husband and I have been wanting to get a Belgian Malimois puppy and I came across a website that breaded them. which seemed legit so I messaged them last week and that night got a text from 786-638-8388 saying that the puppy I was interested was available, etc. the conversation continued the next day. I should have known it was a scam through text! He eventually called me when I made a decision. He had a Spanish accent, pretended he couldn’t hear me, and had terrible reception. Says they were based in Miami FL. Requested a payment through Zelle and gave me his info. $600 for the dog and I decided I wanted it delivered so he said that’s an extra $150. After talking to my bank it went through, they first blocked it for possible scam. I asked for details and when to receive my puppy, the next day he texted with a website swifttransportagency.com with a confirmation number to confirm tracking. All of a sudden I had to pay over $1000 insurance to ship my puppy! The company I got the email from was [email protected] I did some research and found these scam alerts! Also found transcontinentalpetexpress.com exact same page but different phone number! Once I figured it out I tried calling his phone number many times and no answer. I saved all of the phone numbers and the different websites I found if anybody is Interested! BE CAREFUL!!!!! Never thought this could happen to me!!!

I found the same company Rebecca did (Classy Maine Coons) and fell in love with one of their posted Maine Coon kittens. Their second email sounded a fishy so I started googling and found this site. I also found one of the pictures of the kitten in question on a British pet adoption site. I’m glad I trusted my gut.
They are still at it. Thank goodness I did a search before releasing any money. This time was with Maine Coon Cats called ClassyMaineCoons. Trash! Knew something was up when they said they had coupons for free air transportation.

[email protected] told us they were looking to give pets away due to son dying and moving into apartment in Dallas area. I’m 1000 miles away, but have relatives in Dallas to check them out. They didn’t ask for money up front, they asked for my basic information and said a pet transport group would get in touch and arrange payment. When I told them I had relatives in town and they could take possession of the puppies for me, their communication stopped. E-mail finally released a telephone # that was from New York. Shame on people like this!!! Moral of the story, if it sounds to good to be true it probably is not.

They have not been shut down. They just scanned me over the last for days. Rick was the guys name. Said he was from Texas. Used the number 18648327541. Their courier used number 19564332982. The “seller” had one email listed ([email protected]) then emailed me from [email protected] and her number was 9293901483

Yes They are scum! I have reported to every agency I could think of. I should have known better but I just didnt even think there were such scams out there. The people involved all have heavy accents. Unfortunely I never talked to them on the phone until I refused to send any more money. I did tell them I have contacted the FBI.

My husband and I just got scammed out. It was too good to be true but we were just really excited to get a puppy. This lady and I emailed back and forth and she lives in the next state over and told me I had to just pay for the transportation fees. I shouldn’t have fee for it. They seemed legit in the beginning and it’s our first time looking for a pet on Craigslist and trying to transport a pet through an agency and we got f**ked over. They got us for a good amount 🙁
Unfortunately I have had first hand experience with these people. I went to Treasured Dachshund puppies and picked out a puppy. Sent them a MoneyGram for $400. for puppy and $198 for transportation. Within 2 hrs SwiftAnimal Transportation called and said they were setting up delivery. 30 minuntes later than called and emailed saying the puppy needed a special thermal crate which cost $1500. But would be refunded 98% when puppy is delivered. I told them I was not sending them any more money. So they emailed saying seller will pay part if I pay $993.00. I talked with Walmart money transfer and they said its a scam and would not send or suggest not to send anymore money. I told them I was not sending money. Contact seller because I’ve already paid transportation. So now no puppy and no 598.00. They said they will be charging me with animal cruelty and I said I will be turning them in for fraud. I told the seller either send me money or I send the FBI.
We were contacted about a Shih Tzu from Mariana Cruss – mariana cruss ; after some negotiation we agreed to purchase a puppy and have it shipped through uShip and then received an email from [email protected] ; who asked for Western Union payment.
They called from the number 1-281-356-0253 to attempt to collect payment.
Information in the email was suspicious and after contacting some friends in the IRS we were able to determine that the person receiving the funds is Josh Mattingly in Houston, TX.
Very disappointed in this experience and glad we didn’t send any money.
Do not buy from Ana shih tzu.
They are a scam. You will not see the puppy and then they claim you gave them the wrong address to deliver to. They will tell you that you need to send an additional amount to cover the delivery bringing it back. Also when you tell them you’re not sending the difference they threaten to place you under pat abandonment for a pet you never got. DONT DO IT!
