In my particular case,
I saw a cute Boston terrier puppy online for sale at https://smartbostonterrierspups.com, on 12/24/2020, decided to contact the seller on the website. The seller reached out to me by the name of Brian Jones or Brian Ful are the phone number of +1 (832) 777-7517. Talked over the phone and but messaged over text back and forth for the majority of the day. I ended up getting the payment information on who to send the money to and proceeded to send money over to Zelle through my bank account in the amount of $650. Money was transferred and was later provided a tracking number and a link to a different website at https://inter-globalshipping.com/track-form/. I was proceeded to get a call from a phone number of (404) 382-0953, which was the “shipping company” and talked with the man at the so-called “shipping company” that we’re going to send the puppy out of the West Houston Airport in Texas. The shipper proceeded to inform me that there was a problem with the shipping crate for the puppy to be shipped in the plane and that I had to send them anywhere between $1200 and $3700 to the shipping company in order to have the puppy successfully shipped to the International Airport closest to me and delivered to my house. The shipping company informed me that they would refund me the full or almost full amount of the money I would send them additionally. After talking back and forth to the shipping company and the sender, I realized we were being scammed. We never received the puppy and have no longer kept in contact with either the sender or shipping company. I did not send any additional money to either of them except for the initial $650.
