They use stolen credit cards and invent identities to defraud people shopping for a pomeranian puppy online. In the first email, the scammer will ask all the right questions, putting you through the motions to prove your suitability: how would we care for our puppy, how would we train him, how often would he be alone? Then the fraudsters emails will get shorter and normally keep to sms messages. This is because the first email is a template where as you are now dealing with the actual scammer. I’m glad I asked questions before sending money. They said ” I am a Christian. I would never scam anyone. ” They refused to answer any calls and would only communicate via email and text. They kept asking how long before I could send money. I was told to go to cvs or Walgreens to buy an American Express pre paid card. They are definitely scammers.
I was scammed by them to and this was the email [email protected] that they use on me to I wish I read this before I sent them money
I’m so upset that I fell for this scam. All I can say is I’m out 800 not as bad as some people. I guess lesson learned…
