The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third party Crownpethome.com are advertising puppys for sale online. They use stolen credit cards and invent identities to defraud people shopping for a corgi puppy online. In the first email, the scammer will ask all the right questions, putting you through the motions to prove your suitability: how would we care for our puppy, how would we train him, how often would he be alone? Then the fraudsters emails will get shorter and normally keep to sms messages. This is because the first email is a template where as you are now dealing with the actual scammer. The “Scam Breeder” will ignore any questions about their affiliation with any clubs or organisations, and questions about the puppy’s parents. The main focus now is convincing you to pay as soon as possible. The puppy will be shipped to you by the scammers perferred delivery company. There is no other option. If you insist on picking up your new corgi they will eventually agree. It makes no difference to them if you travel for 4 hours because they are not at the address they claim to be. Crownpethome.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Fraudulent Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. This is a complete scam. I got an email to say they are in QLD and been stringing them along. These people need to be shut down. Please report everyone.
I have recently inquired about a golden retriever pup they told me they were located in Hermit park in old
I thought this site was too good to be true … and it was. Could smell a scam.
I bought a female Golden Retriever (Berry)from Crown Pet Home (Luke Feeney). He asvised in emails that he would reduce the price to $900, including transport from Melbourne to Brisbane by air, due to me not having the initial $1700. He wouldn’t give me a phone number, but I since found it on the delivery notification, but it wasn’t connected. So, no other contact available for Luke or Crown Pet Home.
I received an email from the transport company (Continental Shipping Ltd) with a very long speil about insurances and heated puppy crate for flying in this cold climate (we’re in Australian summer) I was asked to pay US$2930 (AUD$3740.00) before they would send her.
I emailed them back, saying we didn’t need the heated crate & that I didn’t have that sort of money. The email bounced back. There are no other contact avenues – no emails, no phone numbers – cannot locate the said depot in Victoria – only in the US, and they haven’t answered any emails either.
Luke Feeney has stopped replying, saying he has changed registaion to my name, so he can’t do anything now.
It has been 5 days since that email, & I cannot trace either of these businesses anywhere.
I’ve finally admitted defeat & rung my bank to try to reclaim my money. waiting…..
