Individuals who are looking to buy a great dane puppy online are being targeted by scammers. These criminals have created a website called in order to look legitimate.
They post adverts on community websites advertising puppys.

After you contact the scammers about the puppy, the scammers state that the puppy needs to be transferred to their area and that requires an upfront payment. The prefered payment system is Moneygram, Western Union or Walmart to Walmart but they will accept any form of payment including bitcoin, iTunes vounchers or bank transfer.
Do not think that you can trace them if they use bank transfer as they will often use a “mule” who is not aware they are part of a scam. The down payment is then sent via wire transfer. The scammers then ignore your calls and emails or will contact you and tell you that something else has come up and they need further payment for the delivery of the puppy.

These criminals are happy for you to give them your Credit Card details which they will later use to empty your account. Of course once you have given them your credit card details they will demand that you pay by wire transfer! will claim to deliver the puppy using a Scam Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees.

  1. I have not purchased from them or contacted them but read on the info on this page that they had a new website. They’re using the exact same photos from danesharbor (or other way around) the numbers in these comments is the same for danesharbor as well as the address being in Virginia. We got scammed through danesharbor but I just wanna let people know they are the same scammers!

  2. Received details from phone number: 757-690-0809. Person identified as Jaeda Jones, wanted $950 for the puppy. She said she was based in Vienna, Virginia. One of the videos of the puppy that was emailed was clearly not recorded in Virginia. Sent a weird text advertising purina dog food. Email used was [email protected]. The whole interaction seemed odd and led me to look up their site and find this page. Thankfully I have not sent any money and will not be interacting with them.

  3. These people suck. is a scam. Our story is the same however, our payment did not go through and we aren’t out any money thank goodness. I read nearly 80% of puppy websites are fraud. Do your homework and don’t be a victim.

  4. We attempted to get a Great Dane puppy from Brainy Danes. Puppy was supposed to be delivered today and now they are not responding. Phone number we were dealing with is 757-680-0809. Email is [email protected]. Money was sent through Venmo to @Azurain.
