The trouble with a purchase like a parrot is that the internet is the most common place to look.
No-one wants to support cruel breeding farms, and most legitimate breeders have websites and also advertise online.
Criminals take advantage of this by creating their own websites and paying for advertising using stolen credit cards.

These scammers have multiple websites which sell other parrots besides african greys. They normally go for the most popular breeds as they can find the most victims.

If you enquire about one of their parrots they will offer you huge discounts. They will even throw in the best parrot food for your new parrot! will claim to deliver the parrot using a Fake Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, veternary bills, medical insurance for your parrot as well as multiple other fees.

To see more scam websites involving african grey parrots have a look at African Grey Parrot Scams.

Is the new website for this scam bird sale. We have already submitted a domain abuse request to TUCOWS inc.

We tried to purchase an Eclectus Parrot and they kept saying shipping was delayed before they just stopped responding. We are out $1000.
They ask for ZELLE payments only, FYI ZELLE does not cover payments initiated by the buyer so once you send your money you won’t get it back.

  2. This is a scam that has been going on too long. How do they manage to keep their fraudulent web site up?? The location they give in Orlando is fake and people have showed up looking for birds they supposedly purchased only to find out they were scammed!!!! The web site used for this illegal activity is I hope they get arrested!!

  3. I checked their physical address that they had on their web site using google. It was the address of a bird store that had nothing to do with the site. I called their neighbor store and finally got the phone number of the real simple store. It is +14078988724. That is the real one. I added their business and phone number to google maps.

  4. PEAL parrots are scammers! The number they give for NY state registered charities belongs to another parrot rescue. Their website text is taken directly from “PEARL parrot rescue” which is a legitimate rescue in Pittsburgh PA. The image on the website of two beautiful hyacinth macaws, when I did a google search, came up on ads for the same birds for sale in Pakistan and Israel, to name a couple. They want to ship the birds to me without any real knowledge of who they are selling to ,for $600 including cage, toys and food. They have no phone number or legitimate physical address. Im not planning on further engaging with them but they no doubt would have expected payment before shipping the non-existent birds. Again, the scammers are PEAL parrots (NOT PEARL) and the email they use for communication is

  5. I so wish I would have seen this sooner! They scammed me for$1512.50. I was in communication with them via email and text it totally sounded legit, they sent pictures and videos on demand on the 2 different birds I was interested in and than when I decided on the one the sent more pictures and videos. I purchased a Scarlet Macaw and bird cage from their website and after I made the payment they stopped answering my text and emails. They next shipped my order and they have refused to give me my refund. Then they told me that I needed to go to the nearest supermarket and purchase $100 google play or Amazon gift card in order to get my refund and I told them they were crazy because I wasn’t letting them scam me for any more money. They place is a SCAM!!! So needless to say we have no Scarlet Macaw and bird cage and we are out the $1512.50 so stay away from them!!!

    • Hi Kellie I would advise open a fraud proceeding with your bank to see if you can get the money back. It would also be worth reporting the case with local law enforcement.
