The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third party Royaldachshundpups.com is not a puppy breeders website and this is not a review of Royaldachshundpups.com. This is a warning. They claims to sell puppys but the domain was actually created by criminals in order to defraud people wanting to buy a dachshund. Once you express interest in buying one of the puppys the scammer will send you a template email telling you a lot of details about the puppy as well as information on the best puppy food to use, and how you should take care of your new puppy. They will even send you “proof” by showing you pictures they have stolen off the internet of dachshund puppys. Royaldachshundpups.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Fraudulent Delivery company. The “delivery company” is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, an air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. If you have any further information please post it in the comments section below. We are particularly interested in names, email address and phone numbers used by these scammers.
I just got off the phone with a pet scammer. They said they would only accept payment using Zelle for a deposit of $250 before I could drive down to Little Rock, Arkansas to pick up a puppy named Tobie. I indicated that it sounds like fraud since they would not accept cash when I went down to Little Rock. I finally talked to them on the phone and they insisted that I use Zelle to leave a deposit before I drove to Little Rock. The person I talked to would not give me his name and spoke with a heavy accent from the Far East. The phone number they used is (501) 305-2842. This is definitely a pet scam.
The contact name that frauded me used the name of Jeremy Alex.
His email address is jeremyalex1221@gmail.com
When you send emails to this address they don’t bounce.
When I looked up the address he used it was a house in Southern Michigan.
Unfortunately I used Zelle to make the payment.
Things became suspect when I indicated I would drive up to his location to pick up the puppy and not use their shipping method because of the costs involved.
After that I could not get in contact with Jeremy Alex and at that point I knew I was a victim of fraud. The phone number he used was +1 763-301-5715 which just rings and is not answered with no voicemail.
Well, still happening, Very similar of what is being said in the comments. Same Duluth, MN address but my individual goes by Rodney Amundsen , rodneyamundsen45@gmail.com 1-956-332-1884 and where this all started for me was at the royaldachshundpups.com site. So sad, asked me the basic questions, then emailed me the contract – two separate attachments. I was still so hesitant that I kept searching for possible fraud. Rodney asked me what site I saw this concerning information on and I stated several, asked for additional information to check out their business including would like to facetime to see their facility and looking for more information on the parents of the dog “Zoey” that I was interested in and now have had no response! So sad!
I am so sorry. My home is being used in this scam. I have had people that have paid hundreds of dollars and driven several states only to find… THERE ARE NO PUPPIES HERE! Please spread the word and don’t give anyone ANY money…
I confirm royal dachshunds is a complete scam. Luckily I have a smart husband who alerted me . The address where they are raised/ adopted from in TX does not exist! When they finally did call me back with reasonable questions, the call was routed from Panama. We could barely understand him. He got pissy with my husband when he called the scam. Thank god we did not give him any money!! I am so sorry for all that lost a good deal of money, and no pup. Shame on this “scam”!!!
I almost got scammed for a puppy today! I asked to do FaceTime and this is the response. I feel bad that I gave them my name and address! Thank God I didn’t give any money.
The scam response to my FaceTime /Zoom request.
Hi Dear, my regards to your husband.
I really got a very busy weekend trying to do some delivery and attending to inquiries.
I am presently at my vet updating some papers and it's also rather unfortunate that I use an Android phone so i will have to make out time to put all these together before being able to connect with you on video.
However, Chloe is perfectly fine and fast learning puppy that will adapt to any comfortable environment.
Omg, I have been emailing them about a dachshund named Cash. We were all set to send money. Thank you so much for informing us of the scam!
How can they still be up and running?
I was also scammed! I sent money via Venmo. Has anyone who sent money been able to get their money back? I filed a claim with my bank but it’s a process so just wanted to know if anyone has had any luck getting refund! So upsetting!
Thank you!
Someone in a Facebook group is saying they are using a new website.
https://dachshundroyalty.com/
Same scammers though.
Here’s the post from the group.
“I’m so heartbroken right now. This sweet baby was supposed to be delivered today. The airport in Minnesota will not let her board the plane unless I rent a crate for $1315. I don’t have that kind of money after paying for her fees. I even left work early this morning in anticipation. Noone told me all this before hand. I’ve tried contacting the Breeder and no response. I’m so torn right now. This stupid Corona virus is ruining everything. Now I’m out $800 and no puppy.”
I have now reported them to both petscams.com and to the FTC. Thanks Petscams.com for providing information about how to best report scams.
They tried to scam me as well. It was apparent when Richardson Howard wouldn’t schedule a video call to get a closer look at the puppy. I also noticed that the location of the puppies appeared to be in Missouri, but when I heard back from them (via email), the address was listed as Duluth, MN. I looked up a photo of the house. Definitely not a place where a kennel would be permitted.
I have already submitted an abuse report to namecheap.com (although I highly doubt they will do anything about it). Amazing that these scammers can stay up and running so long.
Here is the exact note (2nd reply) from Richardson Howard. Like someone said earlier, very scripted.

Most definitely a scammer.
OMG! I was about to pay them and thought why don’t I just look it real quick. Thank you for saving me so much time and effort. The only thing that made me wonder was the fact their emails kept going to my junk folder!
They were an absolute scam and asked for $1200 before sending the puppy
I have also been exchanging email with “Richardson Howard”. I asked for pictures just because I was anxious to see the puppy. They also sent me a video of what was going to be my dog but the dog looked different. It was darker. Their emails looked a little weird but I thought it was my phone not displaying it properly. Following info was included in their email:

This place is still up and running as a scam. Almost fell for it but when they asked to be paid in walmart gift cards, i thought wait a minute…who does that.
The same scam is being done at the website dachshund royalty.com. — same names and numbers. The link to their website in the email they sent my wife bounced, so I typed in the actual hyperlink url and it was registered one day before royaldachshundpups.com
I have given them my name and address no money do you think they can still scam me?
They just got me to give them $700, then called me the next day as a shipping company asking for $1500 for shipping costs. Unbelievable!
I also inquired about a puppy and parents. Was told parents not on site. When I asked for past buyers I was given and address from California but the phone number from the website. REDFLAG!!!! SCAMMERS!!!!!
Same here, almost fell for it also. Something made me do some research and found this page. Thank you…thank you…..thank you!!!!!!!!!!
I have been exchanging emails with a “Richardson Howard” and almost fell for the scam until a red flag popped up. When I asked for a picture of the Dam, they provided a generic photo taken from the internet of a Chocolate and Tan dapple puppy. Their answers to my questions felt scripted as well.
