These criminals have created a website called Nationalbeaglehome.com in order to look legitimate. They post adverts on community websites advertising puppys. After you contact the scammers about the puppy, the scammers state that the puppy needs to be transferred to their area and that requires an upfront payment. The prefered payment system is Moneygram, Western Union or Walmart to Walmart but they will accept any form of payment including bitcoin, iTunes vounchers or bank transfer. If you have any further information please post it in the comments section below. We are particularly interested in names, email address and phone numbers used by these scammers.
My boyfriend found the National Beagle Home website a few days ago and we reached out to them about a puppy. We received an email from [email protected] asking for some basic information and $850. They also texted me from (703) 382-2643. I asked them to call me, as I was not paying money before meeting the puppy (we were told they were located in Northern Virginia, which is where we are also). They called from the same number and my boyfriend spoke with a male who he said had an Indian (?) accent. We asked if we could meet the puppy before sending any kind of payment, the guy was hesitant but then said yes if we sent HALF of the payment. We said no and he eventually gave us the address 4104 Guinea Rd Fairfax, VA. When googling this address you’ll find it was just sold April 2021.
