The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third party Individuals who are looking to buy a tibetan mastiff puppy online are being targeted by scammers. These criminals have created a website called Everestmastiffs.com in order to look legitimate. They post adverts on community websites advertising puppys. After you contact the scammers about the puppy, the scammers state that the puppy needs to be transferred to their area and that requires an upfront payment. The prefered payment system is Moneygram, Western Union or Walmart to Walmart but they will accept any form of payment including bitcoin, iTunes vounchers or bank transfer. Do not think that you can trace them if they use bank transfer as they will often use a “mule” who is not aware they are part of a scam. The down payment is then sent via wire transfer. The scammers then ignore your calls and emails or will contact you and tell you that something else has come up and they need further payment for the delivery of the puppy. These criminals are happy for you to give them your Credit Card details which they will later use to empty your account. Of course once you have given them your credit card details they will demand that you pay by wire transfer! Everestmastiffs.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Scam Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. I had contacted them back in March, they did txt me back and sent pictures of parents, but we did not go any further.
I did notice today that a picture on Everest Mastiffs is the same as Western Empire Mastiffs
I was searching for a puppy and contacted everest about a puppy named Daphne and was texted back. Said he sent an email that never arrived. Felt something was off so called to talk to them. Someone with a thick accent answered the phone. Tried asking questions about the puppy and was hung up on when I needed the address to come to look at puppies.
I am so embarrassed to say these awful people scammed my husband and I. After multiple messages back and forth we sent them 1000$ Needless to say. I informed him I would not send anymore until I received a phone call or video conference. Now this man claimed to be in the US Armed forces and sent a fake picture of himself because when he did call he was an Indian sounding fellow he could hardly speak English and did not know the first thing about our military. This was a very hard lesson learned as well as expensive. I wish this experience on no one. And my heart goes out to all of you on here that were taken advantage of.
Thank you all for theses I almost purchased a dog from these people. I was contacting them and when I told them I would pull up on them to see the dog , they never wrote me back.
I also was scammed by Everest mastiffs and as well I will never see my money again. I feel embarrassed I fell for such a thing and disappointed I am now without the puppy I wanted. This was a hard and expensive lesson to learn and is going to sting for a while. I hope this can keep someone to falling for the scam like I did.
Lucy, My buddy was thinking about buying a dog. If you can please reach out to him and give him some insight on your experience with sire 561-307-6671. Chris Glenn
Thanks
We’ve just been scammed by Everest mastiffs. We just moved to a new home and we’re hoping to find a playmate for our daughter. We were so excited to get our pup “Dafny” we even bought supplies the night before. The day she was supposed to be shipped to our home we received a phone call from a man with an Indian accent informing us that we needed to pay an additional $1600 in order to ship the pup in a thermal crate that would be much safer for her. At this point my husband and I realized that we had been scammed. The man demanded that we pay the rent for the crate in order for the dog to be able to fly on her scheduled flight. We had already paid a total of $1185, which is money we’ll never see again. This really sucks and we hope that no one else gets scammed by these jerks.
