In today’s world, the online Pug puppy market has attracted unscrupulous individuals who seek to make a fast, illegal profit. These thieves employ hastily created websites, stolen pictures, and false information, with the aim of swindling as much money from you as possible.

To avoid falling for Pug puppy scams, here are some pointers to consider:

1. If all the Pug puppies are ready for sale at incredibly low prices (e.g., $650), it’s a red flag. Such prices are unrealistic.
2. If the pictures are of different quality or have different backgrounds, be wary. Reputable Pug puppy breeders usually have a consistent style or look to their photos, and all images will appear the same.
3. Some Pug puppy scammers may demand additional payments after you have already paid an initial deposit. Alternatively, they may take your deposit and disappear without a trace.
4. Scammers will refuse to meet with you in person or even have a face to face video call to show you the puppy before you pay a deposit. This is because they’re not genuine breeders and may even reside in a foreign country, even if the phone number appears local.
