Who are Specialpoodles.com?

I contacted Special Poodles after I found their website on line to purchase a teacup poodle called “Mr. Jerry” for my disabled daughters birthday. The next day after filling out the interest form for the puppy, I was contacted by Damian Renolds he instructed me how to send the payment of $500 for the dog and was told that he would be flying the dog by a pet service as soon as he received payment.
I received a message that he got his payment. I then received notice from a company called Skypet Movers that I would have to pay an additional $1200.00 for flight insurance for a law that was recently passed for shipping animals, but, that I would then be reimbursed at airport once I picked up the dog.
Unfortunately I did everything that was requested of me. I sent payments waited, only to then be told over the phone that the dog was now stuck with the shipping company because I needed to now pay another $400 for a flight crate.
When I told them at this point this all seemed out of sorts to me they began to be rude and even hung up on me twice when I told them I wanted to cancel and demanded to have my money back.

I was never given a physical address for either business. I only have the individual’s name, city, state and zip code and phone numbers to send payment to for both the Special Poodles website and the shipping company Skypet Movers.

For the Special Poodles website : Specialpoodles.com, Damian Renolds – Alexandria, Virginia, 30044 Phone: 571-418-2440, specialpoodles@gmail.com

For Skypet Movers : Titad Dominic – Alexandria, Virginia, 22314 Phone: 517-418-2070, skypetmover@gmail.com

They no longer are are accepting my calls or emails and the website is still up at the moment and the photo of the dog “Mr. Jerry” that we purchased is still listed as available. My daughter-in-law contacted them to see if she could get through, she did, she even acted interested in “Mr. Jerry” and then they gave her the same information I was given to purchase the same dog!.

  1. I almost bought Mr. Jerry! There is no phone number associated with the website and it tells you to “call or email with any questions” and there are typos throughout the website. I knew $500 was too good to be true! people are such jerks.

  2. I literally just spent $300 today sending it to them. I am blind and I am a single mother of a 15-year-old. So very excited to get the dog. Unfortunately I didn’t think to research until now so I am likely out of $300. Here’s some information that I got from them today regarding their address and the questions I asked them about shipping :I have a couple of airlines i use that is American, continental and united airlines depending on which one that has a direct flight to your location and there are no charges for shipping equally, no insurance is required. Our address is 2051 Clyde Ave Alexandria Virginia 422304.We accept visitors every Saturdays and Sundays. the name i got is Mark Dremond 5712225684. Thank you for this information it never would’ve occurred to me to look it up, I am too trusting for this world. This breaks my heart. Has anyone contacted the better business bureau? The phone number registers to Haymarket Virginia . I feel so stupid and not only that I have a little money

  3. Thank you!! I almost just caught up in this scam! I was going to purchase CoCo. I started getting worried when some questions were not getting answered, i.e. Questions on bloodline, parents etc. then when I asked to be sent the contact, I was told all documents would be sent after payment was sent/received. When I responded by saying I was informed by others that contracts are always sent & returned w/a deposit 1st, I was just flatly told “this is how we do it”. When I inquired about a family member, in Alexandria Va, could come by to see CoCo…I was told they only have visitors on Saturday but since their puppies go so fast they probably would have her or any other puppies left by saturday. Now I was really worried & started contacting other breeders to check on this, I found this was far from the truth. One breeder actually went the extra mile for me & found out this was a SCAM! Thank you Janice Jones (Miracle Shih Tzu/Small Dog Place). This people need to be shut down & put in jail!! So angry!! ??

  4. I just contacted special poodles I too was interested in Mr.Jerry the teacup poodle. He told me he was still available and to get back to him via cell phone if I was interested. He cell number is571-349-8593. The photo of Mr. Jerry is the same photo that is on another scam site american best puppies. Only on american best puppies the teacup poodles name is Danny. Each place I contacted said they had the poodle with them. How is that possible when one company is out of Boston and one is out of Virginia. When I told the companies I noticed the picture was the same on both sites they told me it is probably bc the breeder put the picture up too. Also the prices were different as well. So they are both SCAMS and do not trust either site. I would hate for people to be out hundreds of dollars bc of these jerks!!! Also the number the guy e-mailed me to contact him from american best puppies is out of service not that number was 617-418-4472. Please just buy dogs from local areas or from breeders you know. Even though it is easier to shop on line for animals it is so hard to trust any site or any person you don’t know resulting in lots of money lost. Just wanted to let you all know both places are SCAMS!
