Our Danes are not kennel dogs but live in our home with us. We will only place our puppies in homes with families committed to doing the same. No exceptions. We follow the Great Dane Club of America Breeder Code of Ethics and are members of the Great Dane Club of America and the Great Dane Club of Arizona. Our Danes will only be registered with the AKC. Our Danes used for breeding are normally AKC Champions as we believe in the evaluation of our breeding stock. We have our vets use an echocardiogram for Heart testing as that gives a better picture of heart health. Blood is taken for a full Thyroid panel. Eyes are dilated and checked for hereditary eye diseases. Any eye issues noted will always be listed on the OFA database in breeder notes. X-rays are taken of Shoulders , Hips and Elbows .
