Individuals who are looking to buy a english bulldog puppy online are being targeted by scammers. These criminals have created a website called Jovypuppies.com in order to look legitimate.
They post adverts on community websites advertising puppys.

After you contact the scammers about the puppy, the scammers state that the puppy needs to be transferred to their area and that requires an upfront payment. The prefered payment system is Moneygram, Western Union or Walmart to Walmart but they will accept any form of payment including bitcoin, iTunes vounchers or bank transfer.
Do not think that you can trace them if they use bank transfer as they will often use a “mule” who is not aware they are part of a scam. The down payment is then sent via wire transfer. The scammers then ignore your calls and emails or will contact you and tell you that something else has come up and they need further payment for the delivery of the puppy.

These criminals are happy for you to give them your Credit Card details which they will later use to empty your account. Of course once you have given them your credit card details they will demand that you pay by wire transfer!

Jovypuppies.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Scam Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees.

My mom was speaking to these people about poodles. She had money in hand and went to pay via MoneyGram, becuase her bank doesn’t use Zelle. MoneyGram flat out refused to send the payment. They were the ones that told her it was a scam. Thank you MoneyGram. She contacted my sister and I to look into them and another company (CutePoodlePuppies.com). I found Jovy on this list. My sister found the other on a different list. Mom is so upset. Thank goodness for the people looking out for our parents and our money.

  3. I was almost a victim and I was also dealing with Mike Summers on the live chat. Mike was very informative but his story began to get holes in it as I continued to ask about “purchase protection”. He told me that my purchase was guaranteed through Zelle. As I researched Zelle, it clearly stated there was no “purchase protection”. I then flat out asked Mike if this was a scam and he said NO and referred me to their website to read the positive reviews.

The ONLY thing that saved me was during my review of Zelle, a screen popped up with the red boxes warning against Jovy Puppies. I read it and was stunned. I immediately went back to Mike and asked him to explain the negative warning. Mike said it was his competition trying to interfere with their business. Mike said he would report it to the company attorney. What a liar.!! I immediately discontinued the live chat.

Thank you so much for warning against these terrible scammers. I’m sincerely sorry you lost your money but your reporting and warning is saving others from making the same mistake.

  6. These people have all the answers & surely have been doing for a long time. Mike confirmed that their previous business name was, “Best Boutique Puppies.”
after being scammed myself, I pit 2 & 2 together & asked Mike who that company was & he confirmed it was the old company name!
I hope I never experience this again. Very bad business dealings. Don’t even think to talk to them. Surely the name “JovyPuppies. com” will be changed soon.
I hope this helps someone else. I am so distraught. I saved that money & now I have no money for a puppy. : (
