Charmcitypupps.com are advertising puppys for sale online. They use stolen credit cards and invent identities to defraud people shopping for a french bulldog puppy online.
In the first email, the scammer will ask all the right questions, putting you through the motions to prove your suitability: how would we care for our puppy, how would we train him, how often would he be alone?

Then the fraudsters emails will get shorter and normally keep to sms messages. This is because the first email is a template where as you are now dealing with the actual scammer.

The “breeder” will ignore any questions about their affiliation with any clubs or organisations, and questions about the puppy’s parents. The main focus now is convincing you to pay as soon as possible. The puppy will be shipped to you by the scammers perferred delivery company. There is no other option. If you insist on picking up your new french bulldog they will eventually agree. It makes no difference to them if you travel for 4 hours because they are not at the address they claim to be.

Charmcitypupps.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Fraudulent Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees.

  6. I found their site and was very close to making a purchase. They told me they were in Charlotte,NC. That was close enough for us to drive. When asked if we could see and pay, they replied no, that puppies were only shipped. The terms and all sounded to good. Then I found this web, thank God. Please get this type site deleted, to include the others who scam.

“We are celebrating our 10th year anniversary. For this reason we are offering a sales discount . The current promotion on our website includes free home delivery. There is no additional charge for home delivery. If purchased while the promo is on, the total you will be paying is $499 per puppy or $799 for two.”

  11. Thank you. I’m so glad I investigated further and found your information. My husband came across their website and has looked at it for a couple days, nearly ready to make a transaction. Whew! I’ll deal with someone that I can see face to face locally (or within driving distance.)

    • Hi Delinda, yes one thing I always advise is – if you are buying a pet online make sure to videochat at the very least with the breeder and make them physically show you the puppy. Anything that you can physically see the puppy live is always a safe bet!

  12. Has charm city pupps been found to be a complete scam, or can you legitimately get great puppies from them?

    Reply
    • Hi Delinda. All of the websites listed in our directory are 100% non-delivery scams. They are run by West African (or Indian) criminals and they will make you pay for a deposit for a pet that you will later never recieve. The website is fake.
