The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third party Riodachshundpuppies.com is not a puppy breeders website and this is not a review of Riodachshundpuppies.com. This is a warning. They claims to sell puppys but the domain was actually created by criminals in order to defraud people wanting to buy a dachshund. Once you express interest in buying one of the puppys the scammer will send you a template email telling you a lot of details about the puppy as well as information on the best puppy food to use, and how you should take care of your new puppy. They will even send you “proof” by showing you pictures they have stolen off the internet of dachshund puppys. Riodachshundpuppies.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Fraudulent Delivery company. The “delivery company” is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, an air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. Please be aware, they are now using McDachshund.com with all the same info you all noted above. They are using the same phone number 786-410-7146. They got rude when I kept asking questions and then when I asked for references, they said I don’t like you and don’t want to do business with me. Please beware. The scum just keep finding another way to take advantage using people’s hearts.
I got suspicious right out of the gate. I sent an email inquiry from their website on Thanksgiving thinking they would get back to me in a few days/weeks, they immediately got back to me. I decided to continue to message them as maybe they just care that much?
I lost my weenie baby Ellie in august and during thanksgiving my family was talking about how much I needed another. Within fice minutes of inquiring they texted me. (786) 410-7146. They never gave me their names or any reason to trust their company. When I got busy doing other things, they messaged back asking “are you still interested” and I stated I’m just worried due to the fact we’ve been scammed in situations like this before and they said “ We are a family of Christians and we know how hard people work for their money so we can not be taking your money for what is not real and that’s why we have to sign a sales contract before you make the payment okay”.
They stated they were located in Lanier Court Naples Florida. The price for puppy and delivery to my nearest airport was $700. That just sounded fishy and too good to be true from the get go. I searched them and found numerous scam complaints. I ended up messaging them back this morning stating I would not purchase from their “company” and THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES
I’m in communication with them now. They’ve sent me a contract and doesn’t seem right. No business license or puppy registration information. Very pushy about shipping vs. picking up the puppy. We are about 7 hours away, but prefer to see the puppy rather than paying first. They seem very pushy about completing the transaction as quickly as possible.
I contacted them about a puppy and they say they are in Napel Florida. They wanted money up front. This is a scam.. Please beware. They sent me video of puppy I wanted and lots of pictures that were taken off internet.
They almost got me too, I even have a copy of the contract with the address and name and phone number, The address they are using now is 14522 Lanier CT, Naples, which they for sure do not own. Cell phone is 786-410-7146 and name he put was Oliver Haward. Thank goodness I looked up Rio Dachshund puppies USA and saw all of this..I wish they could be shut done.

I tried to send money using Apple Pay to send the money however they did not accept the money so it was stuck pending, they insisted that I cancel the Apple Pay request and use Zelle. It turns out once you send a payment on Zelle you cannot cancel said payment so I got suspicious and looked up if it was a scam. Luckily I did not send money on Zelle and I was able to cancel my Apple Pay request.
I too just almost got scammed! All the above comments are true. Except they were saying they were in Naples, Florida. What caught me off guard was they sent me an email with another dogs name. Then immediately sent me another exact cut and paste email with information but with the correct name. Soooo the two puppies info was the exact same? Hmm? That was fishy. Then I text the number back (same number as the above comments) and asked if they could FaceTime me with the puppy too. And asked for pictures / FaceTime with the parents. The reply I got back was “Nevermind nice day”. Obviously they couldn’t and are scammers.
I contacted these people about a dog the number they messaged me from was 786-410-7146 and the email used was [email protected] the address they used was 38 pleasant ave, Clinton NJ, 07013
They use [email protected]. I contacted them about a dog on their site and they sent videos and a lot of photos. I don’t remember them being too pushy about the dog, but they were very insistent upon the shipping. They say they are in New Jersey. None of the photos on the site were taken at the same location, so yes, I think they are swiping doxie photos. The video they sent in September was supposedly of a 3-month-old dog, but the dog in the video was wearing a Christmas sweater. Likely a scam.
They almost got me! Here is a number “they” are using +17864107146. The email is [email protected]. Hope this saves someone else from being scammed!
