I was scammed by this bogus company and they called me from the same phone that now appears on their website: 1-361-236-5476. A fake “agent” told me the puppy was about to be examined by their vet and that it would be shipped soon. The pet was originally offered by a Mr. Jamika Blue and wife Tracy Glenda, they used phone 1-936-549-3317 via Craigslist and after I sent them a down payment (which fortunately I was refunded by the Venmo app team after telling them about the scammer using their payment platform), they offered shipping my pet through this fake website, that has the same design and logo as a real website based in the UK, www. globalpetrelocation .com. The fake website has a “tracking” tab that uses a fake confirmation number sent to your email, so initially everything looks correct. But when talking to the “fake relocation company” agent, he would not tell me where in TX they were located, saying all the information I needed was included in the email I received, which was not true. Also: the seller, “Jamika Blue”, and this false agent, both had a strong, similar foreign accent. I later read about Cameroon citizens living in the US participating in pet scams and although I don’t want to make false judgements, this also struck me and made me think again if this was a scam. The authentic website has a Facebook page and they have warned users about these issues. I will be happy if anyone out there does their homework and reads this post and avoids being scammed!
