I bought a French Bulldog through a man named Muas Banks (texastech frenchbulldogs was the name of the company) and was told that it will be shipped to my nearest airport. He showed me multiple pictures of the dog and I even googled his address and name and everything seemed okay he didn’t show up on any scams etc. He even had a contact that was so detailed and typed and made it believable. I paid 900 dollars and the next day I received an email from Atlanticfreightshippers reporting that they needed 622 dollars for insurance for the dog and etc. To find out it was a scam please don’t fall for it I am out 900 dollars.
I have had a run in with this company this weekend, I purchased a Shih Tzu puppy from Tulsa,Ok. I was assured that there were no other fees and that the puppy would be shipped on May 4th. I received an email from Atlantic Freight Shippers telling me that they need $590.00 insurance to ship and that the $590.00 would be refunded upon delivery of my puppy, I figured ok I guess but the shipping company only wanted Green Dot Reloadable card would not accept any other form of payment. I contacted my breeder and he said he had never heard of such a thing and no other customers had told him of the ins. fee. Well needless to say I saved myself the shipping fee because by this time I figured out that there is no “Milo” the Shih Tzu puppy, and that the breeder and shipping co. are partners.
I have just had an experience with these individuals. I purchased a puppy from El Paso, Texas and the seller offered free shipment to Florida. He stated that he took the puppy to Atlantic Freight Shippers. That night I received an email from the shipper and asked to pay for insurance and a kennel for shipment. The puppy was supposed to be delivered the next day. The next day they notified me that they were in Oklahoma City and needed additional funds before moving forward for vaccines and a different kennel. They then contacted me the following day stating they were in Arkansas needing more money for transport permit for a pet. I have talked with the attorneys general in both states and there is no such permit. They are still contacting me about the puppy and needing the money. I have already lost a lot of money and cannot pay them any more. I find myself hoping that there was never any puppy or he has been in a kennel in wherever for several days.
