Uptownmalteseyorkies Uptownmalteseyorkies, http://Uptownmalteseyorkies.dog, www.Uptownmalteseyorkies.dog Email used: [email protected] Phone number used: 717-345-9582 Names used: NOT KNOWN, Please add to comments below Physical address used*: NOT KNOWN, Please add to comments below *Scammers use a physical address to appear more legitimate. The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third party Uptownmalteseyorkies.dog is not a puppy breeders website and this is not a review of Uptownmalteseyorkies.dog. This is a warning. They claims to sell puppys but the domain was actually created by criminals in order to defraud people wanting to buy a maltese. Once you express interest in buying one of the puppys the scammer will send you a template email telling you a lot of details about the puppy as well as information on the best puppy food to use, and how you should take care of your new puppy. They will even send you “proof” by showing you pictures they have stolen off the internet of maltese puppys. Uptownmalteseyorkies.dog will claim to deliver the puppy using a Fraudulent Delivery company. The “delivery company” is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, an air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. Thank you for the advice. We reached out to them and started talking to them. I only saw this because I googled the website. The number they called me from was +17172987607. The first thing they asked was for payment.
If a Maltese “breeder” uses the word “teacup” in describing a puppy, you can bet that either it is a hoax or the breeder knows nothing about Maltese. The breed is a “toy” breed. There are no legitimate Maltese designated “teacup” or “standard.” They are all toys. The AKC approved adult weight is 4 to 7 lbs. The pictures of happy customers on the so-called “UptownMalteseYorkie” website show grown dogs, not puppies. None of the dogs, described as “toys” appear to be the 2.5 to 3 lb size advertised. A grown Maltese that size would usually have health problems. People let themselves get suckered in because they think they will get a $2,500 dog for 1/3 the price. If it is too good to be true, people, it is too good to be true. Buy from a reputable breeder who will allow you to see the parents. Ask for references and call them. Maltese puppies are difficult to come by. The litters are small – sometimes only one. But, do your research. Talk to the breeder. Ask questions. Go on Facebook to see an example of a good breeder’s website. Search for Little Maltese, Wilson, OK. That particular breeder is a year out as far as having puppies available, but you can see what a real Maltese breeder’s website looks like. Now, compare that real website to the fake UptownMalteseYorkies. See the difference?
Do not fall for these fake breeders scam!!!! They do not have puppies, they are just trying to get your money and will take up hours/days of your time trying to con you. After receiving a video of the puppy I was interested in, they refused to schedule a FaceTime call or send additional photos. Once I asked for address and to drive up this week to see the puppy and pay cash in full, they pushed me for a deposit and then went dark. These people or fakes and have nothing better to do than take advantage of people! All the info is the above comment is exact- Potential Buyers beware!!!!!
