They suddenly seem like a different person through text message than the emails I got from them. They are acting a bit aggressive about payment so my red flag went off. I don’t know how to proceed, I still don’t know if they’re legitimate or not. At this very moment they are awaiting my payment, which I’m not sending without proof of legitimacy. They want zelle, cashapp or western union. Seems fishy. Anyone heard of them before?

I am thankful you left that phone number (757- 276-1213). On a Saturday, I found a Craigslist add of a “female” needing to rehome a French Bulldog after moving to an apt that doesn’t accept pets. After 2 emails and them saying they were attached blah blah blah about finding the right home, they said they moved to Maryland & would have to ship the puppy (Grey male). Today’s Sunday and at 5:00pm emailed me saying they “dropped off” the 8wk old puppy at shipping.
((RECAP—a $3,000 Frenchie; giving it away; dropped him off with complete strangers in a new town; it’s Sunday night; Conveniently at work on Sunday night and can’t send me their contact info))
The number, 757- 276-1213, keeps calling/texting on a Sunday midnight demanding money saying for me to tell the “seller” to pick up the puppy .
Remember, this all started because I responded via email to a “local” ad for rehoming.

They ask you to send the money via Zelle, Cash App or Money Gram. As soon as I heard those, immediate red flags. When I asked to send the money with PayPal, so I had some sort of assurance, they said I could send the money through money gram. I would never ever do business with these people and I hope people do research before buying. They sent me all these photos and videos and information. I am so grateful I have family in law enforcement and the red flags went up immediately. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! They need to be shut down immediately.

Our family, unfortunately, did not. This is 100 percent a scam and will leave you heartbroken and feeling like an idiot for being so duped. They will ask for over $600 to be sent through Zelle and sending money like this is like sending cash! DO NOT DO IT. Thank goodness my sister did not also send the OTHER $900 they will ask you for right before they put the “puppy” on a flight.. for a “special crate”. Ugh Now they are out $600 and have two disappointed children. Oh how foolish we ALL feel. These people are TERRIBLE TERRIBLE people and should be put in jail. Shame on them and I just hope the next person reads these reviews and steers clear. Good luck in your puppy quest:):)
