I messaged them and the guy sent me two pictures of linnies-the first one didn’t look right, it’s beak had been filed, so I asked for the second one. I provided my name, address, email and phone number. He said he was out of Pittsburgh (wouldn’t give me a name) but that the bird would be delivered to my home for a total of $450. I paid via Venmo to a person named Chavis Caudle. Today they referred me to eliteshipexpress.com which asked for $360.33 saying it was fully refundable upon delivery. They wanted me to pay by Zelle or bitcoin. That really worried me. I told the guy he was a scammer and wanted a refund. He assured me it was normal. I told him he can pay it or refund me my money which I had sent via Venmo, which gives me no alternative to get my money back. Will I ever get my money back? This guy has a page on Facebook and is selling many different kinds of birds! He called from 323-612-5356 and his email address was weitebirdfarm@gmail.com. I want my $450 back! Guess I will need to go to Attorney General Josh Shapiro next.
