My parents were grieving the loss of their 14 year old Shiba Inu and was hoping a puppy would help them heal. They sent the money through Zelle. The email address they used to receive the money was gwazima@gmail.com. They tried to scam another $1100 from them to rent a crate to ship the puppy in, claiming my parents would receive a refund for the crate once the puppy was delivered. Thankfully they were able to stop the $1100 payment from going through, but the $1200 is unrecoverable. We’ve reported them every way we possibly can including with the internet crime unit of the FBI.
