These scammers offer huge discounts that no actual beagle puppy breeder would ever offer.If you see an offer that is too good to be true, it probably is. After you have paid the (hugely discounted) initial fee for the puppy you will be introduced to the “shipping company”. The Scam Delivery company is simply another website created by the scammer to charge you even more fees for everything from delivery, an air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy and even ask you to pay for premium pet food for your puppy! I was a victim of this fraudulent website (lost $695). Initial contact (after filling out the contact us on the website) was from phone number 814-800-2180. After some back and forth, I made a Zelle payment for the puppy to “Skylar” at [email protected].
After the puppy was supposedly dropped off to the shipper, I was contacted by [email protected] to make an extra $1600 payment to rent a thermally controlled crate for shipping (with the promise that most would be refunded once the crate was returned). I attempted to make two Zelle payments to the shipping company using two different email addresses, however (luckily) Zelle refused to allow the transactions as both email addresses were likely flagged as fraudulent.
