I would not have sent money, but was planning to drive and pay on collection. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next as they ask a lot of questions and I did give some personal details which I’m now regretting.

Wanted upfront payment and I expressed concern about being scammed to which he said back

“ I do understand your worries but want you to know this is not the case as our goal is to bring happiness into our customers homes.
We will never think of such an awful act of taking your hard earned money and not delivering the baby as we do believe you do unto others what you will like them to do to you in return. It’s out of ignorance and lack of faith in some individuals that make them think of such in life, causing pain to others not knowing they could be caught in the same situation tomorrow. So all I can tell you is to give me your trust so I can put all these words in action by confirming your details and delivering your baby. Just waiting to confirm your full delivery details now which are most essential with delivery preparations and registration at the courier.”

And then without my response sent this

“ Hello can you let us know if we’re to proceed or not because I don’t like when talking to someone and you’re not responding. It’s disrespectful!”

I then googled and saw this page about it being a scam.

A family member paid for a puppy, but after seeing this they contacted the bank and the money was refunded. The address they were provided was in Melbourne Australia. A Google map search showed a low set house, but the video of the dog that was requested showed the dog going up stairs. When the photo of the dog was shown to people, they responded by saying it was the dog from the TV shoe googlebox . The perpetrator of this scam was not happy when the money was recalled and left abusive messages at around 11pm on their mobile phone. This time and the time of other communication made me question if they were overseas. Thanks to your website, I was able to access his Facebook site and the location says California. This is a definite scam and hopefully the report to the police and scam watch may shut him down. Thankyou again.
