The email address they used was heidigear5539@gmail.com. I told them that I would not hand over any money to them unless I was able to directly view the puppy and be able to take it home after exchanging money. I then received an email from them providing ID for Heidi Gear (a Medicare Card, a Drivers Licence and a Master Breeder & Associates Card), stating her address was 21 McDonald Street, Gullivar QLD 4812. All the emails I received from this person used poor written english, which made me suspect that this was a scam, and they never directly answered any of my requests, including a request for a phone number. Because I was suspicious I decided to look up Heidi Gear on facebook and on her page there were numerous posts relating to someone using her name and scamming people. I decided to directly contact Heidi and she confirmed that she was not the individual and that this was an ongoing issue.
