The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third party Mybulkybuddy.com is not a puppy breeders website and this is not a review of Mybulkybuddy.com. This is a warning. They claims to sell puppys but the domain was actually created by criminals in order to defraud people wanting to buy a french bulldog. Once you express interest in buying one of the puppys the scammer will send you a template email telling you a lot of details about the puppy as well as information on the best puppy food to use, and how you should take care of your new puppy. They will even send you “proof” by showing you pictures they have stolen off the internet of french bulldog puppys. Mybulkybuddy.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Fraudulent Delivery company. The “delivery company” is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, an air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. 10/10/20 Over the past couple of days I had several email conversations with “my bulky buddy”… They sent me a lengthy response to my initial email that at first glance appeared to be legit. They even went as far as to answer some specific questions I had sent them in my email. The price they were asking was 1500 plus shipping which was a good deal but was not low enough to feel like a red flag. They claimed to be a small time breeder with grandkids who raised the pups in house. I was sent multiple photos of the exact dog I had asked about. I told them I was going to take a couple days to make a decision and they went as far as to thank me for taking the process so seriously… They even gave me their phone number To call or text when I was ready. I had 0 reasons to think this was a scam…. But while I was watching TV I started to think about the phone number they provided and that the 525 area code wasn’t from VA where the breeder was claiming to be… I only know this due to my job where I deal with customers in VA on a regular basis… While it did set off a red flag I still wasn’t ready to say it was a scam… people have cell phones from all over these days so you never know… But just to be safe I did a reverse image search of the photos they gave me on google and found the exact puppy I had been looking at for sale on a website in Argentina!! And the image was a google copy-write image and not an original photo. So at that point I knew it was all a scam, started digging deeper found this site and wanted to be sure to share my story… luckily I had not paid anything to them or given any sensitive info out other than my email address… But like I said if I wouldn’t have realized the area code not being from VA I might not have thought twice about it… they weren’t overly aggressive about getting a payment, their emails answered specific questions that I sent them… (I did notice after I realized it was a scam that they had some minor grammatical errors in the emails they sent but they were minor so originally I dismissed them as typos)… So DO NOT buy or communicate with this “company” it is a scam
