This place is a TOTAL, 100% SCAM. We found “our Thomas,” after my hubby had been looking for a long time online and one day, thru MegaBirdStore.com, SUPPOSEDLY out of Cocoa Beach, FL, he found “our baby, a tame, 6 month old Hyacinth MaCaw.” We put “Thomas” in our cart and IMMEDIATELY we had a notification from “MBS” asking if we were interested in “Thomas” and of course we said “yes, very interested in him.” They asked questions, we asked questions, yadda, yadda & within 20 minutes, we had agreed to purchase “Thomas.” At this point they said we were “committed to buying him,” and of course, after talking to them via “MBS CHAT,” ALSO VIA TEXT AND PHONE CALLS, we were “in love” with “Thomas.” SO MUCH “IN LOVE” that when it was time to pay for him, nothing “seemed out of the ordinary,” brace yourself, we fell for it ALL BECAUSE THEY APPEARED SO LEGIT, SO CONCERNED, SO KNOWLEDGEABLE…SO REAL…WOW, we’re we WRONG. Wrong to the tune of $945.00, with the promise that “Thomas” would be at our front door at 10:45 am, the next morning, GUARANTEED. They were so VERY, VERY “REAL” and convincing, we fell for CASH APP ($sollyden, Solange Fonchingong) being our means of payment for “Thomas.” We immediately started getting his cage cleaned up and set up and even got SO EXCITED, we spent ANOTHER $400.00 on new toys and perches. We got our “tracking information,” (EMSAir), went to the “tracking site,” “Thomas” was being “prepared for transport” and 2 hours later “Thomas” was “on board to destination” per “tracking status.” Everything was going smoothly, UNTIL….10:45 am, the next morning, NO “THOMAS,” 11 am, NO “THOMAS,” assuming they “ran into traffic” or possibly “were lost,” we text “Mega Bird Store” to inquire about “Thomas’” whereabouts. They IMMEDIATELY text back, that “they,” the “transport company”, would be in touch when they were close to us. Within the half hour, the “transport company, “EMSAir,” sent a text, from a TOTALLY DIFFERENT NUMBER, saying “pet control,” in Mobile, Alabama, had stopped the “transport” and said that an “electronic cage” was needed because of Covid19, in order for “Thomas” to be delivered to us. They told us our “tracking information” (EMSAir) had been “updated” and for us to follow the instructions. We went to EMSAir website and, sure enough, “pet control stopped ‘Thomas’ in Mobile, Alabama, requiring an electronic cage at the cost of $910.00, REFUNDABLE UPON DELIVERY,” because the “transport company, EMSAir,” would bring “Thomas” and take the “electronic cage” back with them at the “time of delivery for the refundable fee.” At this point all we could think of, was that our “baby Thomas” was in a crate, scared, stressed, freaking out, maybe hungry, etc…”MBS” sent me a text saying “they were sorry about this inconvenience, but the REFUNDABLE $910.00, HAD TO BE PAID BEFORE “Thomas” could leave “Mobile, Alabama.” We IMMEDIATELY tried to deposit the $910.00 to our Cash App and CA “REJECTED” the payment, I called “MBS”, plus text the “transportation company,” again, “EMSAir,” telling them “CA wouldn’t accept our $910.00.” “MBS” AND “EMSAir” told us to check with our bank and to avoid “higher transport fees,” tell our bank it was for personal “issues.” Me, NOT THINKING AT ALL, BEING WORRIED ABOUT “OUR THOMAS,” called our bank, told them the $910.00 wouldn’t transfer to Cash App and our girl at our bank said, “well, we approved it every time you sent it to CA and that CA kept rejecting it.” I text “MBS,” told them what my bank teller said and they said, “it must be Cash App issues.” In turn, I called CA, of course, MAD AS HELL, cause I had JUST SENT $945.00, THE DAY BEFORE, TO THIS EXACT SAME “STORE.” Cash App told me there was “unusual activity with the recipient and had no further details,” and HUNG UP ON ME. NOW I AM REALLY PISSED, I call CA 4 MORE TIMES and they said the same thing every time. READY TO PUNCH SOMEONE AT CASH APP, I call “Mega Bird Store,” they ask me if I have “Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay?” I tell them “no, I have Cash App and PayPal, period.” The “transportation company, EMSAir,” text and told me to send the $910.00 via PayPal and gave me this account information, jingtu2501@gmail.com. I tried to send the money via PP and PAYPAL REJECTED, TOTALLY TICKED CAUSE I AM WORRIED ABOUT “THOMAS,” I called and messaged “MBS” and “EMSAir.” They told me I had to “go to a CVS or a Walgreens to complete payment for the refundable insurance (cage).” I told them that I “was disabled and cannot drive, nor have I driven in almost 3 years.” “MBS” called and told me “they would cover the $910.00 and ‘Thomas’ would be delivered the “next morning.” My husband did some research and found that for THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS, THIS SCAM WITH “MEGA BIRD STORE” HAS BEEN GOING ON. There ARE YOUTUBE VIDEOS ABOUT THEM. I sure wish hubby would have “woke up sooner” and found this out as well as I wish I HAD. Needless to say, they NEVER ANSWERED ANOTHER CALL FROM ME, NOR HAVE I SEEN SIGHT OF “THOMAS.” They DID, however, keep sending me texts, stating that “Thomas was ok and WOULD get to us that next morning.” As well as “EMSAir” texting me the same information. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS MEGA BIRD STORE, THEY ARE HORRIBLE PEOPLE, NOTHING BUT TRUE SCAMMERS. EVERYTHING LOOKS AND SOUNDS LEGIT TO SOMEONE THAT IS NOT “INTERNET SMART,” LIKE ME. I AM DISABLED AND $945.00 TOOK ME 6 MONTHS TO SAVE UP. WE’VE LEARNED A VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON AND HOPE BY WRITING THIS AND REPORTING THEM, TO SAVE SOMEONE ELSE FROM FALLING FOR THIS “BRILLIANT” GROUP OF THIEVES AND LOW LIFE SCAMMERS. THEY ARE PATHETIC EXCUSES OF HUMAN BEINGS. TRUST ME!!!

I almost don’t want to help people anymore. This is exhausting enough to save people who deserve to live. Maybe I’m not cut out to be a nurse anymore. I wanted that bird and saved all my money for a little bit of sunshine on this so corona world. It’s terrible to think this would has come to this. I give people my all to help them care for them, make sure their life isn’t stolen from them or their families, I stay late hrs work my days off. They expect people to wear mask those people don’t care who they hurt, why bother with masks when only a small part of humanity is going to care about another human but themself. I’m rambling after a 12hr day to help people like them. I worked extra hrs and saved for a long time for the bird and the money lost.
