The man said his name was Ralph. They provided a USDA form with their names, address and phone number. On the form is where the address was as well as the names Chris Morgan and Thelma Vasser, he said it was his wife. I was to sign it and send it back so that the puppy ownership could be transferred. I did tell the owner that I would only pay half up front. He had good reviews on his website. He would send me pictures of the puppy I selected, Tina, and even a video of the puppy. We communicated through email, phone and text. I told him I would pay part of the fee and pay the rest when she gets here. He had me send the money through Zelle, which did not raise any flags. I got a puppy in November and paid through Zelle without any issues. He said they fly their puppies through a cargo carrier that has live animals. I again, had my last puppy flown to me, but it was commercial. Once the puppy was delivered to the carrier, they reached out to me. The number he called from was (707)335-6162, with Intercontinental Logistics Inc. https://intercontinentalogistics.com (info@intercontinentalogistics.com). He told me the puppy would fly from ID, to MT to Bismarck, ND. Then I received an email that said I had to pay $1900 for a crate on the plane, due to COVID. I asked to pay by credit card and it was down on their website. I was told to send it through Zelle in two payments. I asked for one, they said their system couldn’t handle it. Foolishly I went along with it, the guilt of the puppy and if she really did exist, what could happen to her. I sent the payments to eshawhat55@yahoo.com. Their system again, down so I had to send it there. It wasn’t supposed to be the same email twice, but he said the other girl was at lunch, so I needed to. The second one got held up for processing. He threatened that he would not put her on the plane unless it went through, so I called my bank, Bank of America. They said it will release soon, and there wasn’t anything they could do about it. I checked with the buyer and he said it sounded weird, but it should be fine and they said you get all the money back when you get the puppy. I was given a tracking number and link to their website. Once in MT, they said they didn’t have the right papers for her according to the state of MT and that she would not be boarding the flight until I paid another $1550. Now, I’m getting angry and me and the shipper are having words verbally as well as angry text. It was a nightmare. Of course, silly me here I thought what if there really is a puppy and she is all alone in MT? I paid in pieces again, even though I told him it probably won’t work like last time. He told me even if it gets held up, they will still put the puppy on the plane. I sent $950 to jayjones0553@yahoo.com on 02/09. The $600 was sent to amarismith1108@gmail.com. Again, it got put on hold with BofA. They wanted confirmation, so I sent them a screen shot from my BofA app on the Zelle side with the confirmation number. This time, it wasn’t good enough. The wanted a “snap” of my account activity. I refused. I said that it was personal and confidential and I don’t share that with anyone. They reiterated not the whole thing, just so we know it is processing out of your account. I contacted my seller via text and he said just do it, think of Tina.
