I was told I needed to put down half to hold the puppy. We live 2 hours from this so called breeder and tried to set up a time for this Saturday to go to their home to pay in full and pick up the puppy then. They refused to do this adamantly and insisted on half down Before we could see the puppies and pick one up. We said “sorry, not comfortable with this”. They said they understood but refused to work anything out. We walked away.
