If you have any further information please post it in the comments section below. We are particularly interested in names, email address and phone numbers used by these scammers.
My family and I looked online and found Lancast Goldendoodle and started a conversation via email. The person did not immediately respond, stating he had another job and would get back as time permitted. We completed a form asking, why we wanted a puppy? In addition to, mailing address and phone number. Afterwards, Lancast Goldendoodle sent instruction to send two payments via Zelle or CashApp. This seemed fishy due to most company requiring credit cards. Again, the person became restless and started sending emails asking if I was still interested. I called the (205)# provided from the website and no one every answered. After I declined, the started sending threatening and started using profanity. The person has been reported to our local authorities and FTC.
Yeah, my wife and I fell for this same thing. We looked online and found this site and were interested. We reached out to them and filled out a questionnaire with a lot of general questions and some personal information on it (Names, phone numbers, addresses, etc.). Susan Bright from “Birmingham AL” responded pretty quickly requesting us to send money via Zelle Or Cash App so they could ship the dog off the next day. This set off a few red flags and we started looking into it. Found out they have a couple of sites and that they are completely full of poo poo. Glad we never sent them money or got any further than this. Kinda worried about them having my address and phone number but I’ve already filled out a complain with the FTC and I work for the gov, so if anything pops up, I’ll find a way to “take care of it”.
They also go by “Brights goldendoodles”. I came across this website and submitted a contact request form as well as emailing them. I immediately received an “address not found” notification for the email. Later that day, I received an email from “Lancaster goldendoodles” saying they were following up on my contact request for more information on the puppies. This seemed weird to me because they had two separate webpages, “Lancast Goldendoodles” and “Bright goldendoodles” showcasing the same puppies. They said the puppy would be delivered to me via airline. I asked if I could drive to pick up the puppy instead and they said it would require a $500 deposit. I then looked up both Bright Goldendoodles and Lancast Goldendoodles because it definitely seemed fishy. Right away there are many posts that come up about these pages being a scam and using photos of dogs that aren’t there’s and stealing people’s money. Stay far away!!!
