The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third party Individuals who are looking to buy a terrier puppy online are being targeted by scammers. These criminals have created a website called Kingwhitewesthighland.com in order to look legitimate. They post adverts on community websites advertising puppys. After you contact the scammers about the puppy, the scammers state that the puppy needs to be transferred to their area and that requires an upfront payment. The prefered payment system is Moneygram, Western Union or Walmart to Walmart but they will accept any form of payment including bitcoin, iTunes vounchers or bank transfer. Do not think that you can trace them if they use bank transfer as they will often use a “mule” who is not aware they are part of a scam. The down payment is then sent via wire transfer. The scammers then ignore your calls and emails or will contact you and tell you that something else has come up and they need further payment for the delivery of the puppy. These criminals are happy for you to give them your Credit Card details which they will later use to empty your account. Of course once you have given them your credit card details they will demand that you pay by wire transfer! Kingwhitewesthighland.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Fraudulent Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. Found a Westie puppy for $650 each in their site. Emailed we wanted a certain one named, Bella 10 weeks old. Emailed questions they gave more info and pics. Seemed legit. Decided to go forward with it. When it came time to pay for shipping and her total was $850. We asked for a contract bill of sale and received one that sounded too good to be true. States that she was akc registered, would be shipped to our home address, was microchipped and given all vaccines needed, checked for genetic issues, that she was born Sept 22, 2021 as “Dog” etc. As far as payment they said they took Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zelle, Western Union, and Moneygram. We started to get suspicious. We tried and tried to get the money sent and our bank declined saying potential fraudulent activity. I tried Zelle and it said are you sure you want to continue this number belongs to Travonn, which is not the supposed breeder’s name, Jeremy Calvan. He started texting attempting to help us figure out Apple Pay. I tried google pay and that didn’t work either. He said Zelle is the easiest way if your bank has it and asked what bank we used! We texted it was declined due to potential fraud and then we stopped responding. He texted the next asking if we had a local Cvs or Walgreens to wire the money to him! I then googled the phone number provided and it came up with several others getting scammed by this number trying to sell them German shepherd puppies for $850! We were fed up we stopped responding and blocked him on our phone. I found the same pics and videos of a dog they “had for sale” on Instagram and contacted the owner via message. Ridiculous! The website cannot be found anymore so I hope no one else gets scammed by these people!
I am looking for a cane corso and found a website called Lizzy cane corso. Got that little gut feeling and asked for their address and looked it up and I found this so yeah they’re still at it apparently…
