He said again this is my responsibility and if I don’t pay he was going to call the cops I said fine that I already did he hung up on me! I talked to the seller and he said I shouldn’t have to pay but he was going to call the agency! I said why not just pay him and he’ll get the money back he said he didn’t have any money ( I just paid him $850 he said he bought puppy food! Really that much! He said he’d ask some of his friends and get back with me! He did and said he could only get $500 and I’d have to pay the rest! I thought if you’ve been doing this for 17yrs I’m sure the agency would help u out! I told him I couldn’t come up with the money and he said he’d figure it out and get back with me Tuesday! He never called so I called him I asked what was going to happen he asked if I had the money I said no and that I could wait a week till he got the money and he said the agency needed the money today or the puppy would be considered abandoned I told him I wanted him but could not get the money he said fine he’d send me my money and hung up on me! I called back later and no answer! I kept calling and later that night the phone was disconnected! I WAS SCAMMED!]]> I was scammed by these people! He texted me after I showed interest! Which came up maybe Mark as the phone number! He told me they were a small breeding family in Colorado Springs, I asked if it would be ok if we came got him and he said that was ok and they only ship when necessary and he gave me the price of the puppy and the shipping amount! He also gave me his address (1085 Hunters Ridge Dr, Colorado Springs 80919) He asked how soon could we come get him? We were going to go get the puppy but figured $200 for shipping was better then driving as the price of GAS NOW! My husband and I talked it over some more and we decided to go ahead with this! He gave me the options to send money He told me I’ll have to go through ZELLE or Cash App and asked which I prefer! I decided to go with Zelle but could not send the whole amount! I asked if I could call him he gave me the number (720 ) 507-7320 came up maybe Mark! We talked and he said since it was my first time sending money through Zelle I’d only be able to send $500 and the next week I could send the rest! This was Friday the 22, 2022 so I could send the rest on Sunday and after I did I had to send a snapshot of the amount and proof it was sent! I had to send it to Travis Williams which was weird cuz his name was Mark Anthony! Monday came and he said he was on his way to take the puppy to the agency to ship and they were going to check out the puppy and then email me with departure and arrival times! I received that all was fine I got a call about 2 hrs before he was to leave from the agency saying Mark did not send the puppy in a suitable crate and it was going to cost more $1000 for 1st class $800 for 2nd and 3rd was not available! He said I’d be getting instructions on how I was to send the money! I didn’t catch his name but they both had Middle East accents and his Phone number is (203) 539-0570 Stamford CT! Red flag! I got the email and they also wanted me to pay using Zelle or cash app! Red flag same as the seller! I wasn’t going to open a cash app and I could only send $150 with Zelle I also told him it should he the sellers responsibility he said that the puppy is mine now and I’d have to pay I said I couldn’t! I told him I’d call the seller and talk to him he said it’s my puppy now and I’d have to take care of this! I told him I wasn’t stupid and that for 1 thing why should I have to pay $800 for a crate that I’m never going to see and for him to give me the money back for the crate after I get the puppy!
