They will lie, they will tell you sob stories, they will send you pictures of puppys which they have found online, they will assure you of their faith and religion – anything to get your money! These scammers offer huge discounts that no actual chowchow puppy breeder would ever offer.If you see an offer that is too good to be true, it probably is. After you have paid the (hugely discounted) initial fee for the puppy you will be introduced to the “shipping company”. The Scam Delivery company is simply another website created by the scammer to charge you even more fees for everything from delivery, an air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy and even ask you to pay for premium pet food for your puppy! They use a remote address so that even if you are local it will be hard to meet up with them. They are pretty convincing by having you sign a contract and everything.
We attempted to buy a French bulldog pet. We were told to send the money using Zelle payment app through our bank and then they would setup shipping the pet to use because they were in a different state. We signed a contract and after we sent the money they did not send us any info about delivery. We emailed them and they said they would give us details and let us know. They have not responded since via email or the text messages with the information ([email protected], [email protected], 713-373-5805) they provided us. I looked up the website information and found that the site was registered in Zuid-Holland, Netherlands on January 23, 2021. The phone number they gave us to text was also fake and doesn’t exist. The address is also registered for another scam site Furrychows.com. I did not discover all of this information until it was too late.
