We were just scammed yesterday, but with the website https://www.smartestwestieterrieshome.com/. Phone number 1-405-254-8232
They said they were based in Enid, OK and would ship the puppy to us via a flight. Took money thru Zelle.com or AMEX gift cards. In retrospect, there were warning signs, but we had just lost a dog and were sucked in by emotions. Out $800.

After we sent the initial copies of the cards, we were sent an email asking for more money for a specialized shipping crate. That’s when we knew we had been had. We tried to call various numbers and they were all disconnected.

Hard to fathom people playing on people’s emotions.

This site seemed too good to be true (westies for only 700 when everywhere else is 1800+) and I couldn’t find where they were located, so I googled the phone number on the site and this petscam site came up. I only got to the point where I inquired about a puppy. I am so glad I didn’t go further, but I am annoyed I’ve given my name, phone number and state. 🙁 I hope they don’t try and steal my identity too. Anyway, this group is now called Smartest Westie Terries Home . I don’t know how we get this taken down, but it’s obviously the same people. I’m glad my suspicious nature prevented me from inquriring further. 🙁 Here is a link to their new site:

I am also a victim of Excelwestieterrieshome.com . Looks like the site has been shut down already.

As the costs went up I finally realized this was a scam.
