I only found this site after falling victim to the scam. The email is now germanrottspups@gmail.com
And phone they are using is:
7249939348.
I found this site after actually really reading the feedback and one of the comments said Eric Rottweiler.
My dog was supposed to be shipped from PA by a global icon transport but the company put the shipment on hold and wanted another $500 refundable deposit for insurance but they had no phone number and system was conveniently down. However, they heard I made a zelle payment so they would accept that. I contacted germanrottspups@gmail.com and he stated that I would have to pay them. I told him that I would not and requested he pick the puppy back up and I would drive to get it. Last email I recieved said he would let me know when he had the pup.

I’ll provide all info I can. My son (9) knows how much I’d been wanting another Rottweiler since mine was stolen from my backyard many years ago. He Googled and found ericfamilyrottweiler.com. He was so thrilled that he found them because they were offering a 50% discount for an “anniversary” sale. So instead of $2K they were charging $650. I should’ve thought more into it when realizing that’s 67.5% off more 50%. But who’s complaining that’s amazing?! So I contacted them from the form on their website. It doesn’t indicate the email address the form was sent to just the ericfamilyrottweilers.com. In the form I indicated which puppy (Drake #6666, still shows available too) I wanted and some other info. I got an email the next morning from rottspuppies@gmail.com with a bunch of info on Drake and the next steps ie; delivery, registration in their system.I also got a text from number +1 (724) 497-4230 that they’d emailed me. I emailed back (excitedly) indicating I was ready to pay and would meet half way (Richmond VA) so they wouldn’t have to drive all the way from PA. I gave up my address, phone number etc. I received an email again with how to pay through Zelle. I paused. Something seemed a bit off. In one of my emails I’d said how super excited my son was and I was trying to keep him from bouncing off the walls in excitement. I thought I’d get some kinda response to that like “great! so glad we could bring a new pup into your life” idk, something. The photos on the website show a family with a couple kids all holding Rotties. So naturally I thought they’d understand excitement. Anyway, I looked at Zelle FAQ page and saw where there aren’t protections set up. If you send money then you’re SOL if your get screwed. I thought o.k. well if can sign up to Zelle with PayPal then PayPal has protections. Couldn’t do it. So I contacted USAA and inquired about using Zelle through them and if I was protected at all. They couldn’t guarantee anything but said no member left out on the dark on these types of things. So I proceeded to send them $650. I sent a screenshot and email and heard back one last time that they “we’re putting together my paperwork” and “would get back to me in the morning.” That was two days ago. Now I don’t get any response from email or text. I started thinking the worst and looked up scams for Rottweiler puppies and found Petscams.com and my heart sank when I saw a screenshot of the page (ericfamilyrottweilers.com) I’d visited and the domain name. The puppy we’d paid for is still listed too. I’m heart broken to have to tell my son that we’d been screwed after he was the one to find them. If I can I’ll include screenshots of the website and my correspondence. I’m also going report the domain to the providing co. as their T&C we violated. Please don’t fall victim to these pieces of human excrement. I will be contacting Police to report as well.
