Responded to a puppy ad that I liked on Doodles for Adoption page on Facebook. Je! Warden (an admin) replied via Messenger and said the puppy was $700 and a”er I filled out the application he needed a $400 deposit to get the ball rolling. On 10/28/2024 I unsuccessfully tried to send deposit via PayPal, Chime, Venmo and Apple Pay. A”er over an hour of those attempts, he told me to get an Apple gi” card and send him the info from the card. Other id I was given to use with Apple Pay, Chime, Venmo and PayPal were jw.072415@gmail.com (Jerry Williams), rmpmmzlrdredccp@hotmail.com (Keatonr Shannonp), (562) 643-7183, and @Lenora-Leggatt-2
last4: 6869. I sent him the Apple gi” card info on Messenger. On 10/29/2024 Je! said I had to get another Apple gi” card and send the $300 balance so he could get remaining paperwork ready for when I arrived on 11/01/2024 to pickup the puppy. At this time he started researching this “company” and the phone number and address he gave me. Numerous red flags drove me to refuse to send more money and tell him he could get the balance when I arrived. The next day I told him to either bring me the puppy or refund my deposit or I will report him to the authorities. I have had no response.
