I searched for mini dachshund puppies through Google and I landed on Home of Doxies and submitted an inquiry. They responded right away. After asking me a few questions and sending me pictures and videos of the pup that I expressed interest in, they requested that I send payment via Zelle or Venmo.

My fiance really wanted a great dane and trusted them enough to send them money, but he made the grave mistake of sending them visa gift card numbers. I hadn’t known he was doing gift cards until he already did it otherwise I would’ve stopped him. When they slowed/stopped replying he got suspicious and used my number to contact them about the puppy he just paid for and they said she was still available. We contacted our local law enforcement and we’ve yet to hear anything back since March. $900 down the drain.
