The dog was $800.00 then the breeder called back and said we had to pay $1500.00 more to the logistics company or our dog could not be shipped. In the end the called again and wanted $850.00 in pet insurance and at that point we new we had been scammed. Reported to federal and local law enforcement. Reported to our bank and we could not get our money back. It was a very expensive lesson to learn.
