They promptly responded to me, but I noticed a few red flags. The individual stated they lived in Florida, but the timestamp on their email was showing as 7 hours ahead of the time in Florida (which would be nowhere in the states). I also noticed the lingo in the email looked to be either really odd broken English, or an AI response with parts that weren’t quite making sense. They also mentioned an additional shipping fee for the puppy right away. Oh, and the pictures that are posted are clearly not an 11 week old puppy. When I requested updated pictures, the photos they sent showed a person wearing a shirt with an Ohio company on it. Once I realized there were too many questionable areas, I stopped responding. Luckily I did not give any compromising information. I have checked the site multiple times this month, noticing that the puppy information is still posted and the same as it was a month ago. So disappointing, and I am so sorry to anybody who fell victim to these people 🙁

My girlfriend and I found this website online as we had been looking to adopt a boston terrier for quite some time. Everything about the website seemed legitimate and even they sent us a 30-day money back guarantee form and a contract. They then had us pay $465 for a deposit, promising that the dog would be delivered a few days later, and the remainder of the fee was due upon arrival. I told them I wanted to call them to discuss the deposit as we had been reading multiple complaints about this company online after we had paid (we wish we noticed before), and they assured us we had no reason to worry. They have stopped responding to my texts and emails, and will not give me a refund. This website needs to be shut down so more people like myself stop giving them money under false pretenses. They also have another website that is word for word a carbon copy, with the same exact names of the dogs, parents, and written testimonials. Shame on them for preying on innocent people looking to adopt a puppy.

I’m a Notary Public in North Carolina. Last night (06/03/2024), I got a call to Notarize some transfer documents for a dog from Cherrysbostonterriers.com.

Once the young couple realized it was a scam, it was too late. They’d already paid $450+ to this scam website.

Along with a police report, I suggested them making reports to the BBB and FTC, pursuant to petscams.com’s advice.

This situation angers me so much, I just want to do any and everything to stop these folks. I realize this is a daunting task, but if there’s ANYTHING you could suggest I do to help, I’d love your suggestions/feedback.
