This is a warning. They claims to sell puppys but the domain was actually created by criminals in order to defraud people wanting to buy a great dane. Once you express interest in buying one of the puppys the scammer will send you a template email telling you a lot of details about the puppy as well as information on the best puppy food to use, and how you should take care of your new puppy. They will even send you “proof” by showing you pictures they have stolen off the internet of great dane puppys. Celebritydanes.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Fraudulent Delivery company. The “delivery company” is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, an air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. These people should be put in jail for what they do to a family’s emotions! We found their listing, Celebrity Danes, on a Google search for Great Danes. My family looked at their current litter puppies and we found one that we fell in love with almost immediately. We contacted them and received a text back with information regarding puppy availability, temperament, personality and pricing. We were informed that the cost would be $980 for this 11 wk old puppy that also included shipping. After payment made through Zelle I sent a few texts asking questions regarding type of food and other basic items they might recommend for a Great Dane puppy (he was to be our first Great Dane). I made a vet appointment to have the puppy checked and given shots, etc. Researched everything we could find online regarding
Great Danes to know what types of training, bed sizes, best ways recommended for training, basically everything covering Great Danes that a family needs to know and prepare for the arrival of our new family member. He didn’t respond until the next morning, first sent a text t telling us the payment wouldn’t go through until the following day and informed us that they couldn’t afford to pay shipping costs until payment was received, putting his supposed arrival date off by 2 days. We were ecstatic! The children were writing down possible names, I was making appointments, writing up a list of items needed from Pet stores (our previous dog passed away 6 months ago and we got rid of most of his things, so we needed all new). I then text the man with questions regarding specifics he recommended as a breeder. He responded a few minutes later being very rude saying he already told us about food and that, as their website says, information on potty training was included in the welcome packet for the pup. I was shocked by the tone of the response. At that point I got a weird feeling and thought I’d go back through all the correspondence between our family and them. I noticed right away the words they used were shortened slang spellings knowing full well that businesses usually use proper terms and spellings in all their transactions, but especially clients. At that point, I started investigating everything down to the location and owner of the phone number listed for the breeder. I discovered that the name associated with that number listed online and the one used for texts. None of the information matched. I immediately called my husband and asked him to stop payment, if possible, or see about getting a refund from our bank due to the fraudulent sale. Luckily, the payment had gone through our bank, there was 48 hr hold put on it due to the amount and the payment being sent to a new and different source, Zelle, than we had ever used prior. We blocked them, they kept trying to call and text us. I looked online for possible avenues to take at that point to warn others and if possible file charges against them. That’s when I found your page, thank goodness!
The worst and painful experience during this ordeal was telling our children when they came home from school. I can’t truly convey the hurt and disappointment our children had. The sadness, tears and the why’s. Why us, why did this happen and asking if we could do something to bring the puppy home- they actually asked if they picked up their clothes and swept would that change the mind of the breeder so they could get their puppy. We explained to them that this had nothing to do with us doing something wrong, that sometimes, unfortunately, some people lie in order to hurt good people and their families.
I’m going to continue to research our options available to shut down these people, just so that other families never have to experience the hurt and emotional rollercoaster as we have.
They take your money asking you to pay for the puppy by zelle/ cash app/ and they do not accept credit cards. This person Angel Tilapia, email [email protected] is the one who receives the the payments. Telephone number is used to contact just by text message (757) 690-0809 because he never answers the phone. They use another person to call you from CA telephone number (314) 717-1381 under Bliss Relocation Service. They have a web page, which looks very real. After you pay for puppies to Angel Tilapia, they call you to ask for $1700 or $2000 totally refundable, for a cage, if you don’t pay them, they tell you the puppies will go to a storage. They pressure you to give them your credit card numbers and as soon as you contact the seller he says cant talk. Then the shipping department calls you all day to receive payment, harassing you to pay and take your card information. BUT this is where they get you, if you decide to no longer want the puppy and cancel any transaction, they will offer you a full refund of your cost. After that they block your phone number/email.
