These scammers offer huge discounts that no actual african grey parrot breeder would ever offer.If you see an offer that is too good to be true, it probably is. After you have paid the (hugely discounted) initial fee for the parrot you will be introduced to the “shipping company”. The Scam Delivery company is simply another website created by the scammer to charge you even more fees for everything from delivery, an air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your parrot and even ask you to pay for premium pet food for your parrot! The scammer contacted me on WhatsApp when I was trying to search for a parrot on some classified sites. I just saw his post online and dropped the message. Soon I received a WhatsApp message from Malaysia number .: +61 730409848. He told his name as MATT . He invested a lot of time explaining and discounting things for me. But it was all trap
I got alarmed when he told me he can’t take acct transfer and will accept PayPal or money gram. thereafter I searched online and found it to be illegitimate. He even sent some fake emails. The above site mentioned is FAKE
