Individuals who are looking to buy a tibetan mastiff puppy online are being targeted by scammers. These criminals have created a website called Westernempiremastiffs.com in order to look legitimate.
They post adverts on community websites advertising puppys.
After you contact the scammers about the puppy, the scammers state that the puppy needs to be transferred to their area and that requires an upfront payment. The prefered payment system is Moneygram, Western Union or Walmart to Walmart but they will accept any form of payment including bitcoin, iTunes vounchers or bank transfer.
Do not think that you can trace them if they use bank transfer as they will often use a “mule” who is not aware they are part of a scam.The down payment is then sent via wire transfer. The scammers then ignore your calls and emails or will contact you and tell you that something else has come up and they need further payment for the delivery of the puppy.
These criminals are happy for you to give them your Credit Card details which they will later use to empty your account. Of course once you have given them your credit card details they will demand that you pay by wire transfer!
Westernempiremastiffs.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Scam Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees.

They cannot send tagged photos of puppers. Do not trust.
I’ve been spending time trying to turn them in along with waterstone mastiff same run around. To find they have been noticed as scammers. It’s very unfortunate that they have not been busted punished taken off internet. Ect. So very sad
I found western empire bullmastiff website online. These people are incredibly smart scammers. I was just about to send the money for a French bullmastiff through the cash app. I just got a strang feeling when it would not let me add a debit card only a credit card. I decided to do more research. I found this website. They claimed I had until June the 30th before I would have to pay 380 dollars for shipping by a plane. They told me since my payment would not go through just to go get a Walmart giftcard and give them the numbers. This didn’t seem right coming from a kennel. On my first email they told me they were located in California next they told me they were in McAllen, Texas. They sent me a application to file out and a contract to sign. I did sign and returned it. I thought they would have to approve it. Right after submitting it they wanted a payment. I am glad I did research.
Do not do business with Western Empire Mastiff! We’ve been emailing all day (5/28/19) for the purchase of a puppy. Everything seemed too good to be true and it definitely was when we got to the payment method. They only wanted to receive payment from money orders, gift card Venmo or cash app. Which of course are all payment methods which are incredibly risky since they are are direct payments and cannot be disputed or traced. The correspondence got strange once I insisted that we use a secure payment method by them insisting they were “godly and good people”. BUYER BEWARE!
I almost got scammed by these people. They try to rush the transaction by saying free shipping is only available for a day more. I figured it out when I realized they didn’t want to talk on the phone and I couldn’t get proper photos of the dog I was Interested in.
