*Scammers use a physical address to appear more legitimate. The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third  party are criminals. Their goal is to steal your money.
They will lie, they will tell you sob stories, they will send you pictures of puppys which they have found online, they will assure you of their faith and religion – anything to get your money!

These scammers offer huge discounts that no actual chowchow puppy breeder would ever offer. If you see an offer that is too good to be true, it probably is. After you have paid the (hugely discounted) initial fee for the puppy you will be introduced to the “shipping company”.

The Scam Delivery company is simply another website created by the scammer to charge you even more fees for everything from delivery, an air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy and even ask you to pay for premium pet food for your puppy!

To see some of these scam delivery companies have a look at Scam Shipping Company.

  1. I have always loved the Chow breed, and recently my husband and I bought a hone in Northern California. The only thing I wanted was a puppy Chow. I spent a lot of time looking into websites that sell Chows and I came across Star Chow"d. There was a puppy – 11 weeks old named Dyse at an amazing price. I contacted the # amd spoke to a lady who emailed me regarding sending payment through Zelle which I did. Following that I received another email stating payment had been received, she would register my puppy and send him. Then I received an email from the transporting agency saying my puppy was on hold and I needed to pay for an electric thermal cart ($2,000) as a deposit but was told once I received my puppy the deposit would be returned at 98%. That made me suspicions so I went online to see about these thermal carts. Which alerted to the fact that if I was being told that, this was a scam. Of course I wasn't able to get ahold of the "seller" and long story short I am incredibly disappointed and still want a Chow. But now I have no idea who I can trust online for that. Horrible scam!

  2. proud chows is also a scam.. heavenly chowz too, if you look up in houston texas under the bbb they also provide another four names associated to heavenly chowz.. beware
