Hi
I unfortunately contacted familyraisedgoldendoodles.com and a person named Dave responded. The emails looked polished and well prepared, looked legit. But sms communication was awful. Not responding to my questions about the details of the puppy and the parents. His phone number is
+1 (740) 294-1320
and wanted a deposit of $300 via Zelle. Even though I was willing to travel to pick up the pup next day. When I questioned the need for a deposit since I don’t know him nor hadn’t seen the pup and made clear I wouldn’t give any deposit for reasons of avoiding a scam he got unpleasant and it was weird because if you are in the business of selling pups why not wanting a paying customer show at your doorsteps right away? Also in the emails first he claimed they are a family hobby breeders but when asked for a deposit explained it was per company’s policy- so what is it a company or a family hobby? His final comment to me after me questioning his intentions was that:” with them it wasn’t all about the money, ok” So why the whole hustle about the deposit? The address he provided doesn’t look legitimate also:
34058 County Road 383, Warsaw, Ohio, 43844
I may be wrong but I had a weird feeling before and now that I checked online reviewers of their business and found out on petscams.com it was a scam? People beware.
