The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third party Excelhavanesepupshome.com are advertising puppys for sale online. They use stolen credit cards and invent identities to defraud people shopping for a havanese puppy online. In the first email, the scammer will ask all the right questions, putting you through the motions to prove your suitability: how would we care for our puppy, how would we train him, how often would he be alone? Then the fraudsters emails will get shorter and normally keep to sms messages. This is because the first email is a template where as you are now dealing with the actual scammer. The “breeder” will ignore any questions about their affiliation with any clubs or organisations, and questions about the puppy’s parents. The main focus now is convincing you to pay as soon as possible. The puppy will be shipped to you by the scammers perferred delivery company. There is no other option. If you insist on picking up your new havanese they will eventually agree. It makes no difference to them if you travel for 4 hours because they are not at the address they claim to be. Excelhavanesepupshome.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Fraudulent Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. Excelpuppyshop got me for $499. Paid money and the dog they said was at the Airport ready to be shipped to us. The an email came from the shipper saying we needed a deposit of $1000, for a crate to protect a 9 year old puppy. Thats when I finally knew I was being scammed. They said they cannot return the money because, once the dog has left their kennel, the deal is done. Google their site and read all that they can do for you. what a Crock.
I DID THE SAME. WHEN THEY ASKED FOR A
GIFT CARD PAYMENT I LEFT THE SIGHT. THATS
A BIG CLUE FOR FRAUD
I’m very sorry that you got scammed and I appreciate you taking the time to write a review! I have been in contact with Excel and was ready to make a purchase and have the puppy shipped. But the half-off special making the final cost for an AKC registered Havanese w/vet check $500.00 didn’t sit right. Then I read the reviews and they all read like they were written by the same person – someone for whom English is not their 1st language. Be aware people!
I can attest as of July 21, 2020 that Excel Havanese Puppies is in fact scam:
The so-called puppy breeder via https://excelhavanesepupshome.com claimed to sell me a 10 week old Havanese puppy for $600. I spoke to the breeder on the phone several times asking questions about the puppy and other details to which they were actually able to answer. The payment was requested via Zelle with no other payment option. Once the puppy was purchased, I was directed to a pet travel website called Trans Pet Ways Ltd. At this point, I did more research and realized that this whole enterprise was a scam- both the breeder and pet travel agency. When I called again, I told them I knew it was a scam, asked them to refund my money, and they immediately hung up on me. When I called back, the phone number was disconnected.
