They use stolen credit cards and invent identities to defraud people shopping for a samoyed puppy online. In the first email, the scammer will ask all the right questions, putting you through the motions to prove your suitability: how would we care for our puppy, how would we train him, how often would he be alone? Then the fraudsters emails will get shorter and normally keep to sms messages. This is because the first email is a template where as you are now dealing with the actual scammer. The “Scam Breeder” will ignore any questions about their affiliation with any clubs or organisations, and questions about the puppy’s parents. The main focus now is convincing you to pay as soon as possible. The puppy will be shipped to you by the scammers perferred delivery company. There is no other option. If you insist on picking up your new samoyed they will eventually agree. It makes no difference to them if you travel for 4 hours because they are not at the address they claim to be. Frizsamoyed.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Fraudulent Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. Same story. I paid a deposit then was told I would need to purchase a temperature controlled crate for shipping “Zoey” the puppy I was trying to buy. I live in Florida, the man at 252-558-4788 said I needed also to send $175.00 dollars for shipping costs. Several times texted me the puppy was on its way . Well no puppy ever came and he got me for $645.00 dollars. I refused to buy the $1000 -2500 dollar crate so he was going to use a different shipping company. He said his name was Mr. Harley James in Denver When I asked him why his phone number indicatedGreenville , N.C. he said he had moved to Denver. His first airline flight schedule said from Denver to Ocala and he gave an address as 205 something but no zip code nor city name. His use of English was very poor and he had a very noticeable Hispanic accent. A real calm scam man. The ad was on frizsamoyeds and he had testimonials and pictures of Samoyed puppies with names. I chose Zoey
At ‘‘this time I doubt he had any puppies in reality. Probably got pictures off internet and used them as if they were his pups for legal sale. His ad also stated very clearly FULL REFUND IF NOT SATISFIED. At one point I said refund by certified check and he said he did not do that. Wanted my Capital One credit card info supposedly so he could credit my account. Well I purposely gave him the account info knowing there was no credit available on my card. Then a few minutes later I got a notice from Capital One that “my” purchase was declined due to no available credit . I texted Harley about it and he acted like he knew nothing about it and said he not used the card yet for the refund. This guy needs to be in prison for a long time for fraudulent advertising, scamming, and operating under a premise that he was a valid Samoyed breeder. I would love to have my $645.00 dollars back if he can be captured and made to do that. What was supposed to be a joyous event having a new puppy turned into about 3 long weeks of expectations and disappointment. Oh. I also told him in a final “HOT TEXT” that trying to take advantage of elderly people was also illegal and against the law. I am 81 years old.
Thank you. Catch him and get him away from harming other people. ASAP
They texted me today, told me I had to pay first and then could come see the puppies. Claimed they were in Denver Colorado. Also told me if I did not pay first, the puppies would not be available as they were going fast. Their website claims they are hypoallergenic and non shedding. Samoyed and Great Pyrenees shed like crazy!!! They texted short messages that were clearly not from anyone professional. When I tried to call their number, It went to a “TextNow” voicemail. TextNow is a free app that will generate a phone number, you can release that number and get a new one ,,,over and over. 252-558-4788 was the number used today and its a North Carolina area code. I have reported to the above link so thank you for leaving that.
Have been texting me saying they are in Denver Colorado saying I could come see them puppies, but they said they may not be available when I get there, so I should pay (I’m not)
