They said they shipped it, and I got an email from Ukralex-logistics.com with a tracking number and link. Two days later, I got the stupidest scam email you could ever imagine from Ukralex-Logistics.com implying that “Canadian customs” had held up the package because it did not have the required “refundable insurance,” and that I needed to send another 550 Euro to some woman in Ukraine. You know, just some random woman in Ukraine. No office, not a company, just some woman. Her name is Olena Pavluk which is a legitimate name as Eastern Europeans live and die by their official ID cards. —

The email goes on to say that when my package is delivered, the deliveryman will refund me 550 Euro in cash. Yeah, right. The package delivery people in the USA are loaded with cash while on the job. —– I am ignoring their request because this is standard scam script. If I did send that 550 Euro, there would be another “oopsy, small problem…!” — and “oh, gosh, there’s another problem…” — and another one and another one, and eventually the victim gives up. That’s how it always ends.

I do business with NameCheap.com and I am sending them my report. Again, my situation was not a pet, but a watch. They are branching out into all kinds of things I guess. I was HAPPY to find this report which confirmed my suspicions. Keep up the good work PetScams.com!

For the PetScam Legal Department, I have names and addresses of two people in Kiev that might be of interest in any further investigation. The names and addresses are correct because they had to show their ID to claim the money. Those have to be accurate or they simply do not exist as a person. I’ve lived in Eastern Europe. I know how this is.
