I got an email from them for the delivery process. I bought a cat on the website
https://verdantkittenscattery.com/. In that email asked me to pay a sum of money for the insurance policy. I realized when they sent that email in several times insisted me to pay. Various tricks they do. what made me realize is that they forced me to pay 2 times in 1 time to another account. To which they stated that the first payment did not pass.
But I realized too late that I had lose a lot of money. They work with websites that sell kittens (like the link) that sells
British Shorthair kittens and Persian kittens. They are very professional in deceiving victims. This thing has a mental effect on me and my family. I lost all my savings just because I wanted to get a kitten that I was interested in. we should be careful in dealing with buying and selling online in the future.
I was scammed out of over 5k through this group who worked through another website selling pure bred cats. The seller hooked me up with them as part of the transportation of the cat to me, there was no cat and this group worked very professionally with tracking for the cat in question with an elaborately set up web site. The tracking system looked very professional and gave all details anyone would expect from a pet mover. It is a very elaborate set up, with many emails and correspondence. Siting laws related to pet transport to justify reasons behind more and more expenses required for the transportation, the whole time the seller working in the background to remind you that the kitten was waiting for you. It wasn’t until I tried to phone the company and found the numbers to be disconnected that I realized something was wrong. Further investigation showed the photos of the cats were from all over the web. Then the sellers phone number on the website was disconnected, and the address given belonged to someone other than the sellers name given. An innocent third party. Just as outlined above.
This site worked with Tiger Maine Coon Home https://tigermainecoonhome.com/ to sell me a kitten for 1250, then set up a crate and insurance. The seller of the cat was tied in close with the website so be warned that the two work in tandum
A close friend recently was scammed out of a few thousand from these guys. It’s definitely a more difficult scam, as it’s elaborate compared to the run-of-the-mill email or phone scams out there. These guys know what they’re doing, able to show themselves as professional as possible, through actual inquiries used by real pet adoption agencies. Much as this full posts shows on this group. It’s very accurate in summing up their methods. They’re quite thorough, also using potentially obscure images of animals from Google (something I should’ve checked sooner, with reverse image searches) to give further proof.
